This was insane! Thank you for requesting this reaction video, I hope you enjoy it!
DISCLAIMER: I understand a lot of you are getting frustrated with me commenting through the video and interrupting the singing, (also cutting off the end). This is just the way I have done my reaction videos, I say what I am thinking at the time as it is easier for you to understand the exact part I am commenting on if I do it straight away! I still always listen to the song afterwards without talking after I have filmed! However, I will try to avoid this in future, and thank you to those of you who have politely made me aware of this ❤️ Thank you for watching 😊

Thank you for your reactions to SOS and All By Myself! We, the fans, (Dimash calls us the Dears) love to watch reactions from musically competent people, who understand what he is doing with his voice and can assess the performances from an objective, vocal point. It would be more enjoyable for the viewers, if you don't cut off parts of the songs completely. If you worry about copyrights, others put a disclaimer below the video. Also you can use the vids from Dimash's channel without copyrights problems. I watch a lot of reactions and for me the most enjoyable way is to stop a few times and give your comment and then go back a little from where you stopped and start again, this way the flow doesn't break. And if you need to say something brief, you don't need to stop. Sorry about that, it's not a critique, just an opinion, which you may take into account or not, as you please.

His voice is incredible. His range is unknown I don't think anyone knows because people keep coming up with arbitrary metrics. I would recommend you to watch his performances in order. Starting with S.O.S followed by opera 2. His English and Kazakh songs are very different from the west. His Chinese songs are very emotional so I suggest you read about the story behind those songs before reacting. His English isn't great but is getting better. I heard Chinese fans say the same but for Mandarin. I only listened to Morissette Amon, So Hyang until I saw a reaction to S.O.S. I had to drop that reaction and watch it in full on his official site. So he's the only male vocalist I get shivers, goosebumps and high doses of Dopamine. Someone who I don't know once said "goosebumps don't lie".

Greetings to the owner and guests of this channel…! And my heartfelt gratitude to the reactors worldwide and commentators of this channel for your great help and service, so that artists can improve and or develop their talents and gifts at their best in order to serve better the listening public. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it and to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living our day to day life. Hope his viewers worldwide especially the young will learned from his optimistic views in pursuing his professional fields to the optimum level especially his confidence, creativity and perseverance. His labors and hard work are now indeed bearing fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the content of its music. The power and beauty of his voice is so incredible even at his lowest and highest notes. Also the fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said oooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and probably surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation. But I believed and I’m convinced that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concerns whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below about these music is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. To all the readers my great apology for this lengthy piece. If you think these are all helpful you can share it to others as you please, I do really appreciate it. Or maybe you might have a different reflection experience of this music than mine; you can always revisit this music or other music of Dimash on line. Your personal critique to this comments are always valuable. SONG OF DIMASH IN FRENCH “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” (Ester Rabi’s Commentary & Reflection on this song (Ref CCC): I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) STORY BEHIND THE SONG : The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. “S.O.S D’UN TERRIEN EN DETRESSE” means in a sad lyrics says … “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God. Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. Likewise, if we are open to grace it helps us become vulnerable, sensitive and compassionate to others. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth” as Saint Paul reminded us that “our present sufferings are nothing to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us later. Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. The hope of heaven gives us joy even in the sufferings of this life. In God’s plan, human beings were created for holiness and eternal life with him. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death. This was not part of God’s original plan, but now is already part of our human lives reality. Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives, and we will face God’s judgment. Death creates in us a feelings and emotion of fear, separation, sadness and pain. Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless. If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. But In God’s plan, however, death is not the end of everything, but the border that enables every human being to enter the endless place of eternity. For all those who have done their best to respond to God’s grace, to die is to cross from an imperfect type of existence into a new and fuller life lived in God’s presence. Often we feel the greatest misfortunes, when death struck in a person, depriving him or her greatest treasures a person can possess which is life itself. Death is such a peaceful event in our life, if we die in the state of grace, meaning if we died reconciled with God and at peace with others. Death is the end of our earthly life. Since it is unknown to all of us, the time of our death, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times. Please kindly react to Dimash Kudaibergen - ACROSS ENDLESS DIMENSIONS original video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5bJeop8nalrl5Y . One of Dimash’s greatest performances (from a sheer performance standpoint) is Daybreak from his Bastau concert (he had a sore throat when doing this song on the Singer show, although it was still good, he was under doctor’s orders not to go too high, he probably still hit notes that even sopranos can’t manage though)! Bastau’s performance of this song is epic! Thanks for your reaction I do hope you do more, Dimash is the greatest vocalist of all time who makes every cover his own and makes it better than the original! You’ve not heard anything yet! If you are then you are missing what is happening while you are talking. And the end of all of Dimash's videos is almost always the best part. He starts slow every time and builds to a finish so we just want you to know it is best to be sure to watch the end. Dear people , i really don’t understand why you criticized Lana of stopping too much !!! She reacts on something she’s listens to the first time ...so how should she know which part is important not to stop ,because it’s important to listen through this passage 🤔you all already know the song ...she doesn‘t...!! It‘s her channel ,her way of reacting ... she stopped 6 or 7 times on SOS ,which i think was appropriately well done...short and professional ... and on parts which were important and stunning to highlight them... so just because you feel it was to much ...doesn’t mean she isn’t allowed to do it ... so please make your own reaction videos the way you want them to be ,instead of criticizing others ...and trust me ...you will even be criticized by others the way you do it ... love Chris xxx ♥️

Dear Lana, thank you for your reaction to the songs of Dimash! It was very nice but with some problems... A lot of us, of human beings, has some problems at the beginning of their ways. I could understand, how difficult it was for you, to think about all possible problems, if you have such a huge audience... the fans of Dimash are from a lot of countries of this world. Each of them has their own views and meanings. Of course it is difficult to understand, if the culmination of the song would be cut... And the often made stops are also not understandable... For me was very important, that I could believe to your reaction, to your words. Thank you. I hope to hear and to see you again... but without this very small problems... with best wishes...

Dimash is the best vocalist alive! Just wait for all the other comments of all the Dears. He has proven himself more than enough. It’s just the question if you are quirious enough to want to get to know this out of this world vocalist?! And especially as a singer yourself. I hear lots of singers and vocal coaches reacting that Dimash inspire them and they also learn from him 😁 But íf you are going to react to more Dimash, I will definitely look forward to your reactions 🤗

I understand a lot of you are getting frustrated with me commenting through the video and interrupting the singing, (also cutting off the end). This is just the way I have done my reaction videos, I say what I am thinking at the time as it is easier for you to understand the exact part I am commenting on if I do it straight away! I still always listen to the song afterwards without talking after I have filmed! However, I will try to avoid this in future, I also just like to avoid long parts where I don't speak as my facial reaction is not very interesting as I am usually just listening 😂 However I will learn from this to not cut any video again as I don't want to upset any Dimash fans. Thank you to those of you who have politely made me aware of this ❤️ Thank you for watching 😊

Pausing is the best thing you can do to avoid a copyright strike. Also don't feel discouraged if someone says something dumb. Dimash fans are a spectrum, fans who quietly enjoy the artist and watching reaction. Some fans are defensive and loyal and travel to his live performances. The last group are insane but a minority, they are a cult. Ignore their comments because I promise you that for them saying something stupid on a comment section is the best part of their miserable lives.

I believe you won’t cut off his song anymore, but I feel a bit sorry for you because some telling you this indeed in a not so friendly maner. You really come across as a sincere and friendly reactor with knowledge of singing. Dears are very protective towards Dimash and his songs, which are masterpieces in our view, but nevertheless it’s your channel and reaction. And of course you can stop a video as often as you want. Most reactors when continuing after stopping the video of the song just rewind the song a bit. But cutting of pieces remind us of Worlds Best, which makes us furious, because they treated Dimash so incredible disrespectful (but that’s a story of its own). So another advise, never react to that program with Dimash singing 😬. Looking forward to your next reaction to Dimash and mostly the Dears will overload you with friendly reactions and loooots of information 😁

His vocal flexibility will drive you crazy. It's not just that he can hit all those notes it is the volume that he can deliver them. Most normal humans have a severe drop in volume that can be brought to bear on the falsetto part of their range. I mean I'm no Pavarotti but I can hit probably 1/3rds but it is the strength that he can sing them with that is so stunning.

Excellent reaction from Dimash! Thank you! Being a finish Dimash fan I can listen to the same song 100 times and as you discover new singers, I discover new reactionaries :-) from whom I get to know my favorite singers even better. Appreciating the performance of Dimash, you might also like to know and react to what is his role model and inspiration Lara Fabian . Lara, multi-language Canadian-Belgium singer has now 50 years old and still active. She has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. I suggest you some songs that she performed in the late 90s that will demonstrate not only her control and her voice but also her interpretation. My recommendations: Je suis malade (Alice Donna, Serge Lama) I am sick! (not the body but the heart) @ Caruso (Luccio Dalla). Famous Italian song recounting the last minutes of one of the greatest singer of Opera Caruso of the 1920s. @ Brocken Vow (original) Song about treachery and forgiveness. @ Adagio ( Original song writer) Cover by Dimash, @ ... and many more that I could suggest to you including this one where you will not discover much about the performance but a lot about the emotion. Je t'aime ) I love you, original, Live from Paris @

Tirallala, don't go crazy with those 7-8 octaves. Dimash has a range of 6 octaves + 5 tones - from F1 to D8. At the same time: F1, G1, A1, B1 are in fact spoken growl sounds. Actual singing starts at Dimash's E2, he sings with coloratura until F6. His E7, F7, G7, C8, D8 are whistles. So he practically SINGS from E2 to F6, which is 4 full octaves. And that's fantastic!
@tirallala1
@tirallala1 4 жыл бұрын
@@EK-tf2eo Is my expression misleading? Yes you say the same thing as me. He sings E6 with head voice/ falsetto, whistle-tones in the 7th-8th octave. (8 octaves is not his range, I know) 😃

@@tirallala1 yes , your "expession" introduces a bit, that's why I (and Rain too) wrote. But you know I like you very much. I think it is better to just give the tone of this whistle D8 (although this is "colloquial" and not a professional record), and mention the octaves with the reference to the range. Regars. Until next nice see you

@tirallala1 4 жыл бұрын
@@EK-tf2eo You are right. I make it better in future. A lot of people don't read properly and when they see my comment, they quickly think that Dimash has such a large vocal range. I just don't like it when reactors (vocal coaches) speak of whistle when it's definitely headvoice. 😃

Hi Lana, I enjoyed your reaction for it's authentic honesty.... Some suggestions to help improve your future reactions. If you want to pause to make a comment please wait till the end of the phrase. ... rather than mid run. Make your comments, then rewind a few seconds ... back to illustrate the point you made. This also helps continuity picking up where you left off and stops the little jump glitches. Remember to always turn up the volume. We can turn it down... but we can't turn it up. Almost all Dimash songs have English subtitles you can turn on... or search the song Name + English Good Luck

Beautiful Lady, let me introduce you to Dimash better. Nmu is 26 years old, he is from Kazakhstan, from a family of professional singers. Plays seven instruments. He has a higher musical education and has now entered graduate school. He writes music and performs songs to his own music. * August of this year, he himself shot a video in his performance of "Kairam Elim" His range is 6 octaves and 5 semitones, and also twice in the song he took the note D-8 Thank you for the beautiful reaction.

Hi Lana , This was the first video I saw of yours and I really enjoyed it. Couple of dumb questions, Dimash seems to be able to incorporate both classical and pop styles into his performances. Is it alright to call it "Popera" ? Or is that too cheezie ? Your thoughts. Also , he is able to sing a high register like a counter tenor, but he also can sing all the soprano registers ? So ..... can we call him a Unicorn? I think he might be from Mars ? I don't know, pretty amazing. Thanks for doing these Lana, With love from Florida

You have to be careful. Dimash’s fans ‘Dears’ are really cool but we do get irked off the chart on 2 things. Pausing in the middle of a build or phrase. Here’s Dimash intro 🙂 start soft, small crescendo, back off, bigger crescendo, back off a little.. build .. opera falsetto .. atom bomb. Pleeese don’t get caught up in the fireworks. He is stunning in softer sections too. He starts whistle somewhere above E6.. yep u read right. He can sing full operatic mode flawlessly over 3 1/2 octaves up to E6. Queen of the night stuff. Check out Ogni Pietra for that. His whistle goes up to D8. So given you don’t know the songs .. Most of his stuff is Kazakh or Russian and you’ll get copyright strikes from anything on the Singer unless it’s Gloria Wi’s posts. You have to do them. (Daybreak, Late Autumn). Try to get the translations before you listen. If you find you’ve paused in the ‘wrong’ place, rewind. It’s takes everyone a while to get it with him - no disrespect only 1 reactor knows exactly what he is doing. Charismatic voice check out her analysis of this song. Good luck... welcome... 💜💜💜 lots of love
