Yes..so glad she got saved!! Became an Evangelist--Evangelist Denise! I heard her speak & gave her Testimony in Baltimore, Maryland. She had a chance to meet the young girl that was praying for her to be saved.

The problem with Vanity doing Purple Rain was money ...Vanity said Prince only wanted to pay her 5k. but she wanted more & felt she deserved more Vanity wabted 1million ..Prince told her he couldnt give her 1million ...But Berry Gordy offered Vanity 300k for the leading role in The Last Dragon .Vanity took Berry's offer & told Prince " Im outta her "

Her name is Denise. I talked to her from October 2014 - up to her death. She was a normal human. We had ups and down. She didnt tell me she was planning on passing away, she told others. I found out she pass on FB. she left me a email 2 days before.

There are disagreements as to who “The Beautiful Ones” is dedicated to. Some say Susan Moonsie others say Lisa’s sister Susannah Melvin. There are also several rumors as to exactly why she did not do Purple Rain. She also reportedly was on drugs at the time of Purple Rain. She was extremely beautiful though not the best singer, no shade.

Vanity mentioned she was given tickets to the American Music Awards by her manager but she never said she went with Rick James. Prince naming them Vanity 6 instead of The Hookers/Vagina is because she'd only agree to Vagina/Hooker if she could call him Dick. He declined and the rest as they say is history. IMO I believe Morris Day's version that Vanity was actually kicked off the Purple Rain set because she and Prince had broken up. That was definitely the vibe then. Folks were upset she wouldn't be in the movie about her and Prince. We were also upset some of the Time weren't in the movie either. Of all the pretty actresses in Hollywood Prince chose a Vanity lookalike. Oh well. RIP Vanity and Prince
