She was lip-synching but she was "forcing" to seems more natural (like it was live), and because of this in some parts of the performance we could here her whistles horribly cracking with the playback because her mic was louder than the playback, so she attempted to sing along with the playback at the end, but it was definitely a failure, her whistle register were horrible (cracking a lot) that day.

She definitely had some very minor off-key moments which only her can hear and tell. For many of us, she's always successful in hitting every note but you can only tell she messed up when she makes a face. Little errors piss her off- from lights, choreography to vocals. She has that different level of drive to always make her EVERY performance perfect and better than the previous one. My point is, even the greatest singers can make a major mistake, but even if you are a 'mediocre' vocalist, if you have that mindset of singing your EVERY song in perfection, you can commit less mistakes. P.S: Beyonce is not a mediocre singer tho.
