I think this is an anthem for everyone who knows what it feels like to be hurt by people, because of causes outside of your control. Beeing bullied in school of work. Or just for stepping outside your house. Beeing different than average. And Keala brings that vulnerability here too. You see her brokeness, which makes this so precious! It really spoke to me and I always cry. Every single time. You go, Keala!

true I've been told by my math teacher that if I don't pass her subject she will send me back to grade 1 and I just imagine myself inside a grade 1 classroom being judged by the parents of the grade 1 students I was in grade 6 at the time my math teacher told me that and that made me anxious to go to school and I've thought of doing suicide but I changed my mind of not doing suicide.

This performance was to get the movie greenlit infront of the head guys at Fox. When it was over Hugh Jackman said the head of Fox ran to Keala hugged her and told her she just got her first motion picture. There wasn't a dry eye in the room after this performance. the raw emotion gets me everytime

That performance always hits hard. Keala's vulnerability is so heartfelt, then she becomes this powerhouse. That moment when she reaches for Hugh's hand, along with the years in her voice breaks me every time.

I loved how Marco was pouring his heart out for several minutes about this, and then Ali joined with "......................................................................... Good stuff... .................................................................". 😂 What a mouthful, Ali! 😉 (And yes, sometimes, there's really not much left to say.) This is my favourite This Is Me rendition. The official movie one is powerful as well, but this one feels more raw and more emotional, and that's why it feels more powerful to me. I love the energy.

I am so glad you guys chose to do this one. I love Keala, that woman can sing. Did you notice most of the song she was off mic, and you could still her? Thank you for reacting to this incredible video! If I recall correctly, Keala had only been hired to sing for this presentation to the 20th Century Fox execs to get the project green lit for production. After this, she was told she had to be in the movie. (She blames Hugh Jackman for that!) She’s normally a stage performer. As others have already said, now you have to react to Hugh Jackman’s performance of From Now On from this same workshop. Please!

First, thank you for your reactions. We went and watched this at the cinema and me, my son, my daughter are musicians but my husband was very reluctant. This is our favorite song. When I planned our spring performance, I knew that this would be special. On youtube there is a whole teaching arc, this performance, the official lyric video, and then Keala's Oscar performance. It was a full cycle from fear to triumph and so powerful. On a lighter note, don't ever scare us on twitter like that again. My heart was in my throat. Never stop if possible, love and respect you guys so much.

I've avoided all reactions to this because I was lagging in watching the movie & wanted full context before I watched any reactions. I watched the movie FINALLY w/ friends last night after Thanksgiving dinner (I'm in California) and stayed up all night searching the reactions that I kept seeing pop up from my fave reactors & I think I clicked yours first. I love that you owned your emotions this time, Marco...well, you always own it but I mean you stayed on camera and let us feel it with you. I found you as a Pentaholic and I rewatch your Superfruit "Rise" reaction...well, I rewatch a LOT of your PTX-related reactions but I loved how that song hit you so hard you had to excuse yourself so I couldn't WAIT to see how you'd react to this. I love that you guys didn't know anything about the song because it proves how powerful music can be & with a performance like that...you can't HELP but be moved, if not...you are dead inside (& dead to me - ha ha JK). Thanks for this, it was awesome!!! I've watched your reaction prob 10x in last 24 hrs. Love you too, Ali!! Man of few words but your face says it all. :-)

OMG, I clicked *so* fast - I knew this one would get to y'all. I actually didn't know a damn ting about "Greatest Showman" until I tripped over this video like 3 weeks ago, and I am now....obsessed. I have watched the segment from the movie where Keala sings this, and her performances on Ellen, and Graham Norton, and at the Oscars (holy shit, the Oscars! Aigh!) And a bunch of reactors. It's not just the song (which is amazing), it's not just Keala (who is amazing, and whose performance here is truly stunning) - it's a roomful of Broadway pros just singing their damn hearts out, at and for each other, the vibe in that room is...just...gah. (Also - watch it again, and watch the guy at the piano - he wrote the song, and you can see him realizing 'holy shit this is *exactly* how I was hoping it would sound!' :) ) Go watch the "From Now On" from this greenlight as well - and then watch the movie clips of both of them. Bring tissues. Soooo good. Just like your reaction - thanks for sharing, gentlemen!
