LOL . .James LaBrie of Dream Theater does that a lot especially when he tries to hit those high notes. I tried singing with my tongue out, felt like I'm gonna suffocate and run out of stored air in my lungs quickly . . Please do a vocal breakdown of Russell Hitchcock of Air Supply, even though he sing most of the high-pitched parts he never seen to tire during live performance .

I'll try that. I had no idea I did this until I saw a video of myself and I'm like, "what the hell am I doing that for?" Unfortunately, when I was younger, I used to do different substances. So I just chalked this weird tongue thing up as a holdover of those old days when I would be on something playing music. But then I noticed, it kind of happened a lot more than I thought. I'm not sure why it really matters to me that much, but I felt like I looked really weird doing it, and I didn't want to be singing and playing guitar sometime and have people look at me going, "dude what's with the tongue shit?"

@@babuudatha9764 True Belting is a part of HVT but straining the muscles of the jaw, throat, neck and tongue are not the way we do it.
