As someone who struggles with being sick constantly having an autoimmune disease I get inflamed so easily and it changes everything with my voice so I deeeeply appreciate this! Wow, I absolutely love Nikki's powerful voice... Her interpretation & runs on sidewalk & hurt were of the charts. So Good.. I wished she wouldn't have tried to go for another key here... Technically considered a mistake, sounded very sharp... I honestly don't think the original key 'E minor' was wrong for Nikki... She just has the tendency of singing major and a llittle sharp, because of the power, that her voice naturally has... But its easy to correct. The piano clearly was banging E minor on 'You', she went way beyond, each time.. She sang like Fsharp & (Majo) there. It needed to be a minor chord. 'E minor" the tonic.... I would have loved to hear some dynamic changes as well, especially at the end..." I'm afraid' should've backed off a little bit there, & again was sharp. It's only a semitone right there Em -D. Nikki possesses such an incredible tone... Her rendition also gave the lyrics a different meaning. Amazing job over all...

I had bronchitis once and had to perform, I used a breathy tone even if it didn't quite match the energy of the song and made it seem like the "wheeeez"-y sound was on purpose :)). Well, it worked but it was rough ! Great video, thanks ! 🎶🎙

The days we feel 100% are few. All your little tricks are gems, but I sing mostly in a choir and don't always have the option to switch keys or change melodic lines. Sometimes it's allowed to change the octave, but apart from that there's not much to do. Anything that we choir singers can do to sing through sickness?
