I had worsening middle back pain for over three weeks after twisting my spine doing strenuous mechanical work. I thought I would need to consult an orthapedic surgeon. I tried your foam tube for about 20 minutes. Felt somewhat better immediately. Next day I felt even better. 2nd day after rolling on the foam I felt absolutely no back pain. Absolutely amazing!!!! Worked SO incredibly well! I was having intense spasms in my mid back area and I was using a tens unit to get me through the night until I could see my chiro the next day- but my daughter’s birthday party was the next day and I needed to be a great host for her and our friends and family and after a few prayers, I remembered these amazing guys and BOOM! Such a release in what felt like my sternum area and immediately flared down those spasms! Whoa! Literally instantaneous, miraculous relief! good video and description. It's so important for people to stretch and foam roll. It's very easy to forget that our bodies, slowly over time and also depending on what job we have are put through a lot and need to be taken care of. Then on top of that if we work out we put it through more stress. Stretching and foam rolling are highly needed especially the older we get.

So glad I searched "Thoracic back pain", and found this. 2 days ago, I strained a muscle in my Thoracic spine area. The muscle that runs parallel to our spine, on the left side. Its sooo swollen, and feels like a rock. I can't take deep breaths, and I HAVENT SLEPT IN 2 DAYS...2 WHOLE DAYS, because everytime my body wants to turn to its side, I am jolted awake with extreme pain. The spasms are THE WORST. I literally cannot breath when they happen. I now have numbness and that weird itching going on that our muscles do when they're pulled. What's worse is, now that I'm "favoring" my left arm (injury on left side), and trying so hard not to cause a spasm, now other parts of my back are beginning to hurt badly. I told myself, "Oh HELL NO, this ends here, look up healing exercises and stretches!" Wish me luck guys, as I'm so utterly exhausted, that I'm even having chest heaviness..because my poor heart is so tired, needs me to be in sleep mode. Update...OMG, I woke up a new woman! I made the DIY Towel roll, and used it. It was painful at first, but not in a bad way, and not for very long. My spine popped in a few places with the most wonderful release! The "rock" that was there began to relax and after lay on it for 20 mins...I subsequently slept for 10 hours!!! And I woke up feeling great! I'm going to use it again now in hopes that I can avoid what I went through in the last 3 days...hellish pain. Thank you so much for this video, you have no idea what you've done for me!! ❤

I'll give this a try. I've been getting aches in my mid back the past couple years and I attribute it to poor posture (my job requires me to hunch over an art desk 90% of my work day). When I was younger this was never a problem, I could maintain that posture all day. But now that I'm older I'm starting to feel the strain.
@kylereese4584 жыл бұрын
The human body is not designed to sit for long periods, never mind hunched over a desk, like so many people have been over the last 30 years. Add in stooping neck posture from long term phone use which is prevalent from a very young ages now, young people today are going to have very bad spines when they are older. We can all get away with poor posture in teenage years and into our 20's. Usually these things start to come out in someone's 30's if they have been doing it for a while, then it gets worse with time. In your case you can prevent further damage by trying to increase back mobility, strength and correct your posture as much as you are able to during the day. When I am in the office I am sure to get up and have walk around at least every hour, it definitely makes a difference.

They come out of nowhere and last about 15 seconds. There is mild, residual soreness. The location is just left of my spine by a couple of inches and slightly above elbow level. @@Yahniboy I have several chronic pain disorder, including fibromyalgia and the results of a back injury, so I will never be free of pain. However now that I've started using the foam roller and another one that is used in a different way on my back, it is much more manageable. I also found a routine on KZbin that is called chair aerobics, and it also helps tremendously. It doesn't make me free of pain, but it makes me able to move around and suffer less.

@@DogFlamingoXIII i can sleep at night and my back is fine every morning but when I do physical activity my mid back muscles start to hurt and won’t stick until I lie on my back for a few hours. Thanks for letting me know. I will try those exercises. I’ve tried the roller on the floor but it doesn’t really go away completely

I was using a foam roller which caused a compression fracture on T9. Now I am experiencing severe muscle spasms and excruciating pain.
