Don’t get too great with it or you might find yourself being a “ single dad” more often for miss Jeanna! Seriously though, your family is a beautiful blend and bonded in love that really shines through! Wish this “Mamaw” could adopt y’all on a visit to the Florida panhandle beaches!😇

About Tiger's eyesight getting worse, I am pretty sure the doctor explained why, but I am pretty sure people are confused why it happened and if you have to worry or not. This is just my personal experience, but the same thing happened and is still happening with me. The more I grow up the more my eyesight gets worse, but it will eventually stop worsening at about 20 years old. I am currently 18 and I noticed that the difference is getting better, as before I had to change glasses very often but not I do it only about once a year. When my vision gets stable in the next few years, maybe I will get lasik surgery and hopefully be able to see with no glasses! I 2ore them for 13 years and I can't survive without them 😂 they are like my best friends, I tried contacts but they are not as comfortable and quite exp3nsive
@HeyThereWilders Жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing your experience! The doctor explained that as she continues to grow that the shape of her eyes is not quite wanted to keep up or grow the right way causing the worsening. We have a follow up appointment to address it and we are just happy to be able to have a great provider to help us through it.

@@HeyThereWilders The same thing happened to me. I was in fourth grade when I got my first I test at school. (I am really old and apparently they didn’t care if I could see😂). I am extremely nearsighted at 20/1050 in one eye and 20/975 in the other and have astigmatism so bad that if it gets worse it’ll actually start getting better. I’m guessing that’s what is going on with Tiger’s eyes. (The only reason they’re not getting worse is that there is nowhere to go! ). For years I wore hard contact lenses because with astigmatism, soft lenses were simply not an option at that point in time. Plus like I said I’m old and soft lenses didn’t exist until I was in college. 😳. At that point in time I had to make the decision whether or not to correct my nearsightedness or whether to correct astigmatism. They did not have lenses available they could do both. So back to glasses I went because the hard lenses were simply to dry for me after 20+ years. I will be getting cataract surgery probably in the next year and we have talked about having a toric lens put in which is supposed to help with the astigmatism. But because my vision is so bad I will always have to wear glasses at least to read. Because now on top of everything else as I age I’m also far sighted, I have a very small window of being able to see anything without glasses. 😡 But life goes on. It is a problem when I can’t find my glasses because I can’t see them. But I’ve been a voracious reader all my life, I’ve worked on computers at work, and it all works out. They have made such huge strides since I got my first glasses that she probably will have lots of options available. Prior to being able to get polycarbonate lenses I had to have glass lenses and they were so thick that I would end up with horrible headaches from the weight of them. By the time she’s ready to get contact lenses they could’ve created a whole new solution for her. One little piece of advice. Always keep her old glasses. If something happens to the current ones it will take some adjustment but she would be able to wear those until you’re able to replace them. I have a spare set in my house and a spare set in my car. I have to leave them on for about two hours before I don’t get the wibbly wobbly‘s from the change in prescriptions. But I have been able to drive home in safety even after my glasses broke!

It can be a long wait with one child, 5 be a handful. Some people travel 4 hrs to use that specialist. We have to be grateful to live close by, where we can wander off home while waiting after check in and first test

I have three children. However, two are adults, and my youngest is turning 17 next month. When they were young I had only the older two, as my youngest is five years behind the middle one. It's easier to manage two or three, I think, than more. I'd bring a toy for them, didn't always help though. If they pitched a fit I'd take them outside. I also took them out after breakfast or nap and lunch.

What do you mean? Should they stay unable to see because they are young If you mean that it is because of devices or something, you should know that most eyesight problems are genetic and kids are born with them, and kids dot have all the right to be treated and given glasses to make their lives better
@edwinreyes7946 Жыл бұрын
@@Srh721 that’s not my point cupcake. What I’m saying is kids at that age are supposed to be at their best when it comes to health, and not the apposite. It’s definitely in the food that’s causing many problems in our young generation!

@helgaioannidis9365 Жыл бұрын
@@edwinreyes7946about the rise of the number of children having bad eyesight, it's not about the food. Research has shown the problem is a lack of exposure to daylight outside. In China and Singapore they have had a huge rise, because they keep their children all days indoors to have them study. As for Tiger though, her siblings don't have problems with their eyesight. This suggests a congenital cause. You can see her siblings don't need glasses.

@@helgaioannidis9365 anyone who thinks they're not messing with the food we eat or young adults are over medicated is just plain dumb. Anything that causes an auto immune response is made worse if you're unhealthy. Healthy people don't need a bunch of GMOs and artificial crap to consume, in which the govt allows.
