Such an amazing dad. Most would hear makeover and look up the nearest makeup counter/store that did makeovers. And while the finished product would be more professional it wouldn’t be as special. I’m envious bc my only experience with a good dad was a few years with my stepdad before my mom came out and left him. I really missed having a dad after that and kind of looked for a father figure. Over the years watching other ppl’s dads I developed a good idea about what it is that makes a relationship with them so special. I think for daughters it’s having a dad who will step out of his comfort zone for you. My sister’s husband is one of the greatest dads I’ve ever met. He’ll call his daughter from the feminine hygiene aisle and confidently ask which pads she wants. No whispering or feeling embarrassed, just dedicated to buying the right thing. With his youngest daughter, the only one into princesses and MLP, he’d play princess pony for an hour or two every night after work. A man who was the single father of a son who within 9 years had 3 daughters. He’s also an amazing uncle to my little girl whose dad is more like her buddy. Which I appreciate but more then once had to break up their fights over toys. Apparently he felt if he bought the Darwin Fox toy, that meant he got to play with it. 🤦🏻‍♀️
