Thank you! Is it possible to have the model or the files to be able to do the 3D printing please?

@@FerchoVallese Hello, I went to the Thingverse and waited, but I couldn't find it. I'm finally going to be able to order the Atom (I had to wait until I had el budget... Santa claus helped me recently...). Anyway, I'd like to print this part. I also saw, on Home Barista, that you recommend putting tape in different places. A wise recommendation. But when you use the ATOM with a hopper, there's tape everywhere like that, or is it using the bellows that causes what you're showing in the photo? Your funnel also looks very good. Which model is it? sorry for all these questions/requests and thanks for your help. Happy New Year !

Does freezing the beans like that impair sacrifice some of the freshness for longevity?
@FerchoVallese2 жыл бұрын
On the contrary, I find that the bean freshness "stops in time" when frozen. I normally get my beans the day after the roast. I let it degas until the day I've tested to provide the best flavor (for example 9 days). Then I vacuum pack in 250g packs, and freeze them at -23C. I open a pack and fill my single dosing containers, which again go back in the freezer at -23C for later use. I have tried roasts of 2-3 months that taste as good as the day I froze them.

Don’t you find that the bellows blows coffee grounds everywhere in the grinder - making cleaning much more difficult? I did - so I went back to the hopper.

Hi Nick, if you mean coffee grounds -inside- the grinder, then I sorted that out by using tape and nowadays a zip tie to keep the silicone cover of the chute right agains the chute, so no coffee can escape when using the bellows. Also, using the spray is a must, if not you'll have a lot of static and grounds everywhere. I have the Atom 65 and would like to make it single dose also. How did you do that?
@FerchoVallese Жыл бұрын
3D printed that part and attached a bellows to it. Also check the comments in these thread: facebook.com/groups/662306604104295/?multi_permalinks=1669461536722125

Great work flow! What WDT tool are you using? Thanks!

Levercraft Ultra (levercraftcoffee.com/products/levercraft-ultra-wdt-distribution-tool-1) Really great product! Enjoy using it every day. You can find the 3D printed stand on thingiverse (www.thingiverse.com/thing:4945544). Had a friend of mine remix an existing design to fit the levercraft.

While I have been many times to Napoli, and fully agree that espresso there is amazing, I would suggest to just let people enjoy their hobbies.. 😉
