This was one of my favorite moves when i started wrestling

It goes both ways, a step over is a good counter for a strong whizzer if you're the underhook guy. It works well if, like Yazdani, you push your opponent's head away with the hand of your underhook arm at the same time while you're going for the step over.

The way Yianni pulls Chad towards him to make Chad longer and easier to step over is a pro gamer move.

this was my favorite defense when i wrestled. almost never saw others using it. worked a charm for me though.

only thing this missed was when you step over, if they get feisty you hook your step-over foot into their crotch kind of like a leg ride to the opposite side.

Didnt you have a video on spencer lee’s top breakdown. I remember watching it about a year ago but i can no longer find it
@jhonthomas28993 жыл бұрын
You might have it confused as this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/imW0h6CKnNGZrck. But maybe DPS also did one.

@@jhonthomas2899 literal goat, thank you for sharing that, I thought the same as this guy, that he had a free breakdown on it but it was a different guy

Georgi Ivanov move from last olympics. If the hands remain locked around the leg then circle and step over. If the hands around the leg break but still have the elbow, then circle the other way for an easy two points.

That’s smart as heck. Ivanov is a gaot

I think you've covered this but Spencer Lee actually hit a counter against the step over on Suriano in the NCAA finals. I think he just lifted the leg that was "stepping over" and turned that in to an offense.

Love your videos!!

I would hit something similar but from a whizzer I'd "cartwheel" both legs over and drop all my weight on that underhook with my hip which worked great for those crazy strong wrestlers. I can't wait to try this!

Yet another single leg destroyed by a counter from a whizzer 😉
@sumsolution51133 жыл бұрын
Nobody should continue a single leg when it's stuffed that badly. What happened to chaining transitions ?
