I dont care what any naysayer projects. They are missing a greater lesson... These simple patterns are what I mix warm ups with after playing the pad about 30 min, I go to the kit for 1-2 hrs, and these paradiddles help lock these concepts to muscle memory to aid you down the road in harder progressions, but with the same basis and building blocks as these. . . Ya dig?

For example #2 if you move the kick on the "+" of 3 and move it to the "uh" you can instantly funk this up a bit. Even more so if you add another kick on the "e". Even more so if you invert the paradiddle! RllRLrrL.

Did you forget the time when you first started drumming? Lots of drummers need beginner lessons, lots of drummers need more challenging lessons. We do both :)
