I had a quote today to damp proof my cellar and mentioned installing a pump he quoted £15800 plus Vat. Surely he's too expensive??

ArborLeaf Tree I can’t really comment on the cellar as Iv not seen it but as a guide your looking at between £750-£1500 per square meter of floor area for a conversion and that’s without any structural works. I also don’t know what type of drainage system the want to install or the degree of difficulty or location, there are a lot of factors to consider when pricing up,
