My most cringe-worthy moment: I was at a house party of salsa dancers and a guy I'd never seen before asked me to dance. I thought, "Okay, nothing too out of the ordinary" because salsa is a social dance, and you dance with everybody there, and it means nothing romantic. The third time he got up to use the restroom... the dummy opened the “emergency exit” where the alarm went off in the middle of the movie. I legit should have just left but I wanted to be nice. I learned then to just leave the guy even if he embarrasses himself.

I remember going on a date with this guy I met on Tinder. As soon as we met up, I immediately noticed he was short. Like, he was my height and I'm 5'3. But whatevs, right? We went out for BBQ and talked a bit. I noticed he was kinda into the date as he was making these gestures like leaning into me or leaning his head near my head, etc. But I just wasn't into him. His personality and mine really didn't match imo. As he was walking me home, he asked if he could hold my hand. My gawd. I was already freaking out a bit about the part of him knowing where I live (I don't remember why I didn't refuse his offer to walk me home, I think it was because of timidness). In the end, I kept making a ton of excuses about how I didn't know him yet and that holding hands for me is an intimate thing yadda yadda yadda. Awkward.
