Soviet P-47 is actually amazing and 8x 12.7mm shred bombers very fast with Stealth Belt and machine guns are easier to use due to higher fire rate and faster muzzle velocity. Yes, this thing is not that fast and fly like a brick, but it is definitely good as a bomber hunter and for ground pounding as it can carry 1250kg bombs with 722kg explosives which you need only 2 turn to delete each bases.

Tiger Sla is better on paper as you have better armor and better gun with quick reload. IS-2 and T-44-122 as you might already know take forever to reload especially if your loader is dead. The only good thing about 122mm is it's high explosive filler which almost always guarentee you a kill for each successful hit.
