I thought I should mention that the new construction from TM on the rotary dial changes the install procedure a bit. It is now much easier in that you can affix the knob to the Sinister Swap housing first and then install the bracket and sensor wheel unit after. Now you can slide the sensor unit up or down in its bracket while in place and thereby engage or disengage the cogs. This allows one to plug into a computer and calibrate the wheel without having to align the cogs beforehand. Once you get it right, a drop of glue holds the sensor unit in place. Easy!

I'm soo happy for the instructions and your 3D plans! I got the parts today from a 3D printer and will start to build the throttle for my other hand. One question: do I need another cable you were writing on the instruction? I can't use the existing one, because it's maybe too short? Do you have a link on Amazon or similar where I get this cable? Greetings!! Thank you so much for your reply and feedback! Yes, you’ll need the JST JH 9-pin 100mm cable with the male to female adapter (look on Amazon) so that the cable will be long enough. The re-arrangement of the controller boards inside requires the extension. Cheers!

@@CoreHawk3D yes thank you! I have to Re open it again and need the long cable, the original works, but all is a little bit too tight and not in the original position. Second fault I made is the small wheel. Of course I had problems with the teeths and when I tested the controller the small wheel doesn't go to zero. So I have to play, till its in the right position. Which hint can you give. Didn't imagine from the instruction how to find the right position. I have lots of grease original on these two small gears.

Thank you! I've attempted it multiple times at this point. I am getting a supplier set up in the states to start handling my orders so I can focus back on R&D, keeping up with orders is all I've been able to do recently. The main PCB/rudder sensor is at a pretty odd angle, getting the dynamics right to accommodate a comfortable orientation for the rudder paddles has proven more difficult than I thought.

That is awesome! I fear I am way too clumsy with a blowlamp to try that myself, but I would really really love to have that. Well, mostly I would love if you could do this with Virpil or Winwing as well, but I take what I can get.

Good job. It's really annoying that there aren't any stock right hand throttles (other than perhaps a two joystick setup).

The rudder bar function can be retained by simply running a cable to a pot on a cheap home-made rudder. Or you could move the pot to the base or to an external housing, to be used as, say, a trim control. It's a shame to completely discard a still useful slider control. 😊

Hello! Apologies for the late reply. I’ve asked them directly once before on behalf of a customer who had issues with the main pc board the base and they stated that they only sell entire units, not spare parts.
