Thanks for the walk-through and part number for those spark coil connectors. I wound up using the zip tie method because the previous owner broke half of them. Oh and the socket tip for the push connectors... nice! Keep up the great videos!

When you do plugs, do coil as well, and both valve cover gasket at the same time as well. The 3 coils and valve cover in the back required intake manifold removal, same procedure as doing the plugs, so it's better off to do them all at once than having to remove intake manifold again later. Just my 2 cents.

No DO NOT do coils. Those are not wear items, you replace them one dies. It’s a waste of money to do those “preventatively”.

Thanks for the part number on the ignition coil wire plugs. I broke one of mine but luckily it was on the front Bank of cylinders. Just curious who else skipped putting the bolt onto the back of the intake plenum? I put the one on the throttle body side but I ended up dropping the one on the passenger side and said to heck with it since it was so hard to line it up. Just wondering if I'm going to have problems ?

It looks labor intensive, may I know why the battery was still connected while doing all of this? Do you think we should de-energize the engine?
@TunerwithKids2 ай бұрын
YOLO. I never disconnected battery for any car work in my 30 years of working on cars 😂
@kevins526816 күн бұрын
You should. Especially with newer cars, disconnect the battery.

Have you done a drain and fill for your transmission fluid? Any changes on suspension?
@TunerwithKids3 ай бұрын
I was thinking about drain fill but then I watched Car Care Nut recommendation and I think I’m too far pass the interval that it’s better just to leave the fluid than risk more issues flushing.
