@@SergiodelaVega Exactly.. My brother is autistic and was bullied by females back when he was in school, so now he has these wild perceptions of what *all women are like* .. It's so crazy to generalize like that, but if you've never met any of the lovely women in the world(other than our mother), it's easier to just paint them all with the same brush.. It's really sad because my brother has just given up on women completely, and I know he could be such a lovely companion to a deserving female. I never instantly judge a person who has wild perceptions, because you never know what got them to that conclusion, all you can ever do is try to work with a person, but often it's extremely tiring.

Ego breaking happened to me after dating a batshit crazy Borderline woman. I was 33 at the time. For about 6 months I would look in the mirror and not know who I was anymore. I had to go to therapy and also address the abuse that happened to me as a child. Out of that extreme pain has come some helpful information. I found out that I'm a scientist at heart. Now I volunteer at the local science museum :)

Oh my goodness YES! I have erased the word "should" from my vocabulary. Underneath the void of darkness is paradise; well said my fellow brother. Also, exactly one week ago I smoked a joint with my older brothers (for the first time in 15 years) & I had the best night. The conversations we had; insightful and beautiful. I now smoke a joint every night. I enjoy it more than I did as a teenager because I am totally comfortable with the woman I am now.

doing that and listening to music is like making love to yourself when you really appreciate who you are. Then I started writing lyrics (with the music in my head) on top of that and I was really making love to myself when I did that. Then I started actually playing instruments and while that was rough going for a little while the levels of zen like euphoric ecstasy achievable were nearly unparalleled.

Duncan described me in a nutshell.. I'm terrified of the kind of breakdown I will have when I eventually crack.
@lylewalker56819 жыл бұрын
+Luke Russell You realize there's a way around it, right? It's called critical thinking and honesty with yourself... no matter how painful it is. The breakdown comes when you can't do those things, and then you get dumped, cheated on, fired, find out you're broke, or just an accumulation of 1000 little things that finally add up. Look up Bukowski's poem The Shoelace. All this talk about psychedelics and so forth is really just a metaphor for what it accomplishes in people who don't have the ability or skill to do it themselves under their own power. Don't be afraid to look into the abyss.

4:22 I feel like I'm stuck in the opposite. I'm a fucking miserable retail person that sacrificed everything to break the cycle of jobs I hate to get into my career field. I feel trapped after years of working with my depression and while also pushing and struggling just to survive, at the same time just living paycheck to paycheck with nothing to show for any of it. I feel like such a failure 90% of the time. I am deathly afraid of entering my 40's and being miserable, doing work that numbs my brain and hurts my soul.....and just doing it until the day I die. I just keep trying to break the cycle and get into my career field and just be happy. I don't even care about being "rich". I have lived in poverty for so long, small things that people take for granted I see as huge luxuries. I just want to be able to pay my bills and do what makes me happy.

You can either give up on your goals, or live your life in a way that truly pursuits them. You can believe me if I tell you I know how hard both of those things can be, because sometimes your goals seem like the only thing that lets you keep going. But the hope that you'll achieve them one day, it's an addiction. Now you can either turn that to a positive or a negative, that's not for me to decide. You get a boost of dopamine every time you set your mind to a certain goal, almost just as strong as when you've achieved that goal. But every time your mind realizes you're not pursuing that goal that dopamine will dip, turning it into torture. People will always tell you "you can do anything if you set your mind to it", and personally I think that's stupid advice. Because there will always be things you can't do, I can't ever be someone else (hence why I shouldn't try to do that). So the better saying would be "you can do almost everything if you dedicate your time to it", because you truly can. Given the planning, dedication and consistency those things will need. Everything that is possible can be possible, unless it's truly impossible. (I'll let you be the judge on that) Now I don't want you to give up on your goals, but I also don't want you to beat yourself up over something you're not doing. The best way to pursuit your goals is making a step by step plan towards your goal, and to take those steps in your own pace (turn every step into a goal= more dopamine=motivation for the next goal). But don't expect to fix your life in one day, try to fix one part of it every month. And if you can't fix that certain part yet, begin with something easier or ask someone for help. Just make sure you don't overload yourself, take things easy. Those things can and will change, if you keep working at them. There is more than one way to Rome, and as long as you keep going the right way you'll get there eventually. I promise (Also this shit took me almost an hour to write down, so don't let it be a waste)

How Trussell explains about the ego amazes me. I’ve invested my ego in some false media beliefs & influencers, & quick money schemes. Followed there beliefs and failed. My ego was broken. Till I started to read books and do writing. I was off the media and was in my room for moths. I felt embarrassed and a failure to people I knew. I kept myself isolated afraid to be seen. Then things started to be clear. I wrote down goals, took more risk, try to get in shape, failed more and now I don’t see it as a threat. Read simple bodybuilding books guide. I’m starting to find my passion but don’t trust myself to well. Things take time and patience and shall find it through experience. My advice is do not trust a media or and be careful how your influence by it. Do some reading and writing. And be self aware of your own ego, question it at times. For example for me, was what beliefs etc. I saw on media. Hardly take victory as granted. And remember, It always depends how you bounce back. Make people talk about you. Earn respect as a Man. And treat people well and be a student of nature. Exercise the mind and body

Bone Thugs -n- Harmony released a song recently called "Fight the fall" that's about exactly this. Amazing song. 20+ years later and they're still doing it right. Most underrated rappers of all time. True OGs. Especially Kray. New artists should be bowing, and then taking notes.

Hey there. How's it going? I've been having suicidal thoughts as well even though I really don't want to do it. I was wondering if you wanted to talk sometime. You don't know me, but maybe that's even better if you really want to talk about what's going on. Change is hard and it's good to have someone there just to listen.
