Thanks! As soon as I read that it had a sherry finish I was surprised. I poured some more after the video and I still couldn't find the sherry. It was good just too much spice.

I have a Sauternes Cask finished Found North Rye Whiskey Single Barrel. It's pretty tasty, but not as good as their core releases. And at the price, it definitely made me hesitate for future single barrels.

I recently bought a Found North Batch 003 (17-year rye), but I haven't opened it yet. A little pricey but if it lives up to the hype, it might be worth it.

Nice review. I have that bottle from Binny’s and it was the first Found North I bought. I have since picked up Found North batches 5, 6 and 7. Like them all. 🥃

Were you able to pull out the sherry notes? I wanted to, but it was just too spicy and I think it overpowered the sherry.

Not really, I did get hints of a dark fruit, but then the spice from the rye lights up your tongue !@@whiskeyisajourney
