My problen with Apex was the matchmaking. I was tired of going up against people who have focused their entire existence on the game since it launched when I only casually get a few kills here and there. I'm not good in the slightest yet this game thinks I deserve to go against Preds and Masters and the best damn players on the planet. Hard pass, Respawn.

By the way if you’re party leader than you’re always jump master unless someone on your team manually picks their legend, it’s to prevent afk jumpmasters

Jumpmaster is decided on who selects characters. If you wait for the game to auto pick the chances to be jumpmaster reduces significantly. It goes like this: If the 3rd person in the legend select screen picks their legend instead of waiting, they will always be jumpmaster. If the 2nd dude picks and the 3rd guy waits, 2nd guy will be jumpmaster. If 1st guy picks and the others 2 dont, 1st guy will be jumpmaster. If all 3 pick instead of waiting, third guy is jumpmaster. If all 3 wait, i think its chosen at random.

A new router wont really fix your connection issues as its only a means to extend the signal from the modem, you would need to upgraded your current wifi plan or go with another ISP, though if I am being honest, nothing is really gonna help with apex as even with fiber I still get connection issue because the Respawn server farm is powered by McDonalds deep fryers

Yeah That Can't Be Right, There Is Always A Thing About Multiplayer Online Playing Games With The WI-FI or Router Messing Up Because Different Severs, Cheaters/Hackers-Your Hitting Them & There Armor Aren't Breaking or There Not Going Down. I've Had Experiences With This Type Of Things And It Happens To A lot Of People, Taking a Break Or Just Quitting The Game Is a Good Idea Before You Break Your PC. Note The Game Isn't Going Anywhere So You Can Always Play It when you feel Like it Or When You Want too

apex has a system that the party leader is more likely to get jump master, and if you pick your legend before your timer ends, it will make you jump master. dont know if thats what was happening to you. loved the vid!
