Sir Bob Geldof On The Boomtown Rats’ Touching New Single | This Morning

After the loss of his bandmate, Garry Roberts, Sir Bob Geldof reveals how the Boomtown Rats are paying tribute to him with their remastered single, ‘No Tomorrow Like Today.’ Plus, at the time of its release ‘Do They Know It’s Christmas,’ became the fastest selling single of all time, raising millions for charity. We’ll ask Sir Bob if he has any plans to celebrate its 40th anniversary next year.

I will always love Bob Geldof. For his dignity and grace. Not to mention that when I saw him for the first time in "I don't like Mondays" official video, I was a little girl and I thought that he is the most handsome man I have seen! He still is. I still like him. ♥ He will always be in my heart.

One hour to work in the countryside and back..this is when the boomtown rats were recording in an old house in Surrey.. Chessington..I dont like Mondays..still to this day..my mum does not know who she was talking to..my mother is now 85 years old..and says..well..he always stopped me and said..do you need a cuppa ❤

I’m also sorry for his losses. The truth is some people are very weak & some aren’t! I’ve kicked an addiction to opioids on my own by myself! I was addicted to it for 20 years. I’m now 63 and clean. Stop blaming everything on drugs and blame some of it on genetics. You had a weak wife & a weak child.
