The rapper with "different" voice is Dawn, he left Pentagon and you may recognize him by (Hyuna and Dawn: Ping pong). I love everything about Pentagon: They are funny/caotic as NCT and SVT, they are sexy as Monsta X and they produce their own songs like SVT 😍. daisy is an absolute masterpiece. from melody, to lyrics, to mv, to choreo. just pure perfection! hui did so well with this song i can't praise him enough for being such an amazing composer. pentagon as whole are filled with such aces doing everything from writing their own lyrics to choreographies to even doing acting in dramas. theyre all so great i love them lol.

jinho (the small guy with the cape in shine lol) is actually currently in the same musical with jinki in 'midnight sun'! they play the same character tho so there's not much interactions of them being together but theyre pretty close already since jinho used to be an sm trainee and actually debuted in sm as part of the group called 'sm the ballad' along with shinee jonghyun, suju kyuhyun, and jay kim so he knows a lot of current sm idols rn, (especially shinee, some exo and some nct members). jinho was also the guy who won first place on sm everysing (exo minseok placing second) so u know his vocals are no joke! him as well as hui and hongseok are the main vocals. :)

I was waiting for you to check them out! They are probably one of the most interesting groups in kpop with a variety of different personalities, looks, and talents. Their vocal line is IMMACULATE. Jinho (main vocalist) is my ultimate bias, I think you'll like him a lot if you check out his covers. He used to be an SM trainee, was a member of the SM Ballad project group, and almost debuted in EXO as a main vocal. After leaving SM he also worked as a vocal coach, which is super cool! One member left sadly, but he is a soloist under the name Dawn under P-nation. Two members are serving in the military rn and Jinho only recently returned, so this explains why the number of members will change throughout the MVs.

the rapper you like (dawn) was kicked out of the group in 2018 because of a dating "scandal" with hyuna. he's thriving in pnation and they're engaged now. jinho was missing in daisy because he was enlisted and hui was missing in feelin like for the same reason.

Thanks for reacting to Pentagon! Their sound is really more varied than just going from cute > sexy. You should listen to Do Or Not, their comeback between Daisy and Feelin' like and it has more upbeat vibe. As a self-produced group they are really into experimentation and really play with sound and instrumentation. Another reacter put it really well, *Pentagon's signature sound is more of a TEXTURE than a genre or 'vibe'* . I hope you react to more of Pentagon including their besides and covers!

@pentagu’s groups guide and individual guides are AMAZING. Definitely worth checking out if you’re interested into getting to know them more. There are a lot of really good 3rd gen vocal lines out there but it honestly isn’t a stretch at all to say Pentagon one of the best. Their live singing is amazing. One of their main vocals (they have 3), Jinho actually debuted back in 2010 in the first SM THE BALLAD unit alongside the likes of SHINee’s Jonghyun and SuJu’s Kyuhyun.

Shine was a bit of a viral hit but didn't get them any wins. Daisy was their first win. Wooooooo! Pentagon! If you love Seventeen, you’ll love Pentagon! They have their genius composer in Hui. Plus Hui and Jinho are my favorite power vocalists next to DK and Seungkwan. The “face” you were talking about is Kino who is a fabulous dancer, choreographer, and composer. Yuto is Kpop’s first Japanese rapper, I think. I think it will be hard to pin down a fave era just because they bounce around so many genres each album… their titles switch up between mature/sexy/dark and innocent/fresh/fun almost every release… But they debuted in 2016 from the show Pentagon Maker with 10 members. Jinho, Hui & Hongseok have already enlisted (Jinho is back now), Dawn (formerly E’Dawn) left the group & Cube in 2018 but is now in PNation, Dawn, Hui & HyunA had a trio under Cube before Dawn & HyunA left called Triple H (I miss them so much but I’m happy everyone’s happy ;-;)… Jinho was part of SM BALLAD actually! Though he never formally debuted under SM-I believe he was originally supposed to be in EXO though? Yeoone, Shinwon, Kino & Wooseok are the remaining Korean members who will eventually have to enlist… Wooseok is the giant rapper and also the maknae lol. Oh! And they have 2 foreign members, Yuto (Japanese) & Yanan (Chinese). If you ever end up watching the Chinese show CYZJ that Jun & The8 participated in, you’ll see Yanan too! He was partnered with Jun most of the show! My biases are Hui & Yuto but I’m wrecked constantly lol and oml sorry if everything I wrote is all over the place-I’m currently getting over being sick!

Because Jinho was at SM prior to EXOs debut, a lot of people thought he'd debut with them and were surprised when he didn't. However, Jinho said that he was supposed to debut with a different group, but the members moved on one by one so he was left without a group.

Someone else has probably mentioned this but Pentagon have done a lot of "It's Live" videos on the It's Live channel for the last 3 comebacks and you have to check them out! Their live vocals are insane so I know you'd enjoy them. Hui is my bias and can't wait for him to be back; he created a masterpiece with "Daisy." I would recommend you reacting to: "Violet" - one of the members, Kino (he's the one you said that you feel like he's the face of the group in Feelin like) composed this song. It's really great and I have a fondness for it. "Basquiat" - Hui and Wooseok participated in composing this song for the survival show - Road to Kingdom, in which Pentagon took part in. "Dr Bebe" - alongside "Daisy" It's one of my favorite songs from them. "Do or not" - It was the latest comeback in which their leader, Hui, participated before enlisting. And I think that "Sha lala" is also worth listening to it.

I highly recommend their song Like This, it's their first self-produced title track and still one of their best, and also their song Spring Snow which is an alternative rock b-side but it's considered to be one of their representative songs and they've performed it live several times. I also recommend their newest album IN:VITE U that came out with Feelin' Like, all of the b-sides are self-produced and it's an amazing mini album.

Also, we got to say that appart from their amazing songs, they have some of the best covers i've listened in kpop (them and gaho are my fav covers ever) in the "it's live" channel. My fav will always be "lovesick boys" from blackpink's song lovesick girls, they did too a rock version of itzy's "not shy", and they recently did an amazing cover on aespa's "savage"

I have been waiting for this moment for so long! I adore your videos, and from time to time I always tend to request Pentagon. The deal with them is the following: they basically have two different sides of them throughout their career, they didn't necessarily start with only cute songs and evolved into darker songs, they've always done both. They self-produce and really like to play with different styles. The fun, lighthearted and cute: songs like shine, humph!, naughty boy, do or not The darker and more mature side: songs like daisy, feeling like, basquiat, dr. bebe I would recommend checking out basquiat, sha la la, dr. bebe, and do or not. Also, my super recommendation is to check out some of their covers on It's Live, their live vocals are impeccable. The one for Aespa's Savage is incredible. One of the main vocalists, Jinho, puts out monthly covers where he really showcases how incredible he is. One of the most famous is a cover of Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. About the members, the rapper with the unique voice left the group in 2018. He's a soloist under the name Dawn now. The other occasional absences from MVs are related to military enlistments or health issues, there is a big age gap in this group (members range from 1992-1998). Thanks for the video!

The guy with the interesting voice is Dawn, he left the group after some controversy and is currently under PSY label, PNation! In the last song Hui is missing cause he is currently enlisting! Hui, Jinho and Wooseok produced most of the songs for the group, besides being the main vocalists! Also Jinho is sort of like a legend in the industry, used to be in SM as a trainee but he left despite being one of the very best in the company and besides his work with the group he also vocal coaches trainees in the company he's currently, and he also has an INCREDIBLE youtube playlist called MagazineHo where he posts covers of famous songs both from musicals and by famous artists! I definitely recommend it to see his true vocal ability!

omg as a universe AND a moa (fandoms) i think pentagon and recent TXT are some of my favorite examples of rock influences in pop music (i also love day6 and the rose, but k-bands have structurally different songs than pop groups doing rock-themes with their songs) so if i could recommend some more songs for this rock-phase you're going through! pentagon have "do or not" and txt have "loser=lover and "i know i love you" if you're interested!

I will love to recommend their b sides also, but i know their best stuff is their title tracks: ShaLaLa, Dr. Bebe, Humph, and Do or Not. You should also listen to Basquiat (a song that was made for the final round of road to kingdom, the show the boyz won) You should also know that they produce and make their songs as well, so they're not talented only for their performance and vocals. They are incredibly versatile and do some rock stuff so I'm sure you will love them. Most of their music is self-composed and comes from the heart and gives you feels. Pretty pretty was actually a bside song from their 2nd mini album so it was a while ago. Pentagon deserves so much more recognition than they've gotten--I feel like they're one of those groups that other groups respect but don't get as much attention from the public as others. They are so freakin' talented and such genuine, hardworking guys. No matter which groups you stan, everyone could use more Pentagon in their lives.

Basquiat is a MUST if you want vocals. Hui (my ult bias) is one of the main composers and producers of the group. He is one of the main vocalists in the group along side Jinho. you've finally reacted to pentagon yay! i have been subscribed to your channel for a while and was waiting. i hope you can check out DO or NOT, Basquiat, Naughty Boy and some bsides like The Game too. i honestly love the Genie:us and UNIVERSE: The Black Hall albums, but ALL their releases are impeccable so it's hard to pick a favorite. know that this group self-produces/self-composes and is heavily involved in the creative process of their comebacks! i hope to see more pentagon reactions here, i think you'd love how skilled and unique their vocal line is across all generations. ptg also have a lot of rock influenced tracks, like Spring Snow, One Shot, etc. their music is so versatile you'll definitely grow to love them. btw it is not 10 members anymore, it is 9. as of right now, hui and hongseok are serving in the military. jinho was not in daisy and hui was not in feelin' like!

what a surprise! daisy is my absolute favorite kpop song of all time and i don’t even stan the group 100%, their music is just so so good to me + their leader produces basically everything (he also produces for others groups too, our king hui)

even though I'm not standing them.. Jinho is one my favorite vocalist in KPop, I really love his vocal tone and vocal range. But Even though he's not in the "Daisy" MV because he's in the military, it's still one of the Pentagon's songs that I like the most.

Yuto is the rapper that said his catchphrase before his rap “YutoDa” (it’s Yuto in Korean). The other rapper with a deep voice is Wooseok, the maknae and tallest (real tall) member. They are all pretty tall and with some member who are smaller in height, they bicker because the noticeable height difference. I think if you’re more interested in knowing them, a simple guide is worth it. They are really talented in many fields and adorable and goofy. pentagon started off as 10 but dawn was kicked out by cube in 2018 so they're 9 now. their debut song is gorilla but after that they really started producing and composing their own songs, hui is their leader and he produces their songs mainly. he is currently enlisted but he comes back this year i believe. pentagon is like seventeen, very chaotic and very loud but very talented as well. my personal favorites are like this, runaway, dr bebe. there are many useful guides that you can also check out if you are interested in getting to know them more.

Pentagon is THE most complicated group to "react to" or even get into them at first, cause every mv has a different number of members and their concepts are really diverse too i personally prefer their cuter side, like "Shine", "Humph!", "Naughty Boy" and "Do or Not"

I can't believe I missed this reaction?? Thank you for this! If you want to really hear their vocals, they did a beautiful a capella version of Into the Unknown (yeah from Frozen!) and also an a capella version of Do or Not, the title track before Feelin' Like. There's a super old vlive of them standing around a piano, singing their debut song with harmonies and everything, it's wild. And also the whole It's Live Series, they dedicated an entire week to Pentagon, their version of Lovesick Girls/Boys is the most watched video on the channel. Their rock version of Itzy's Not Shy is incredible too, and it has bonus Yeoone celebrating his birthday so that's fun. It may seem like their style is all over the place but that's because they mainly write and produce their own songs so they make the music they want to make, or what they think the fans would enjoy (which we do!)
