Sisi Yemmie your intro is like a love note to Turkey 😂 “how can I use words to describe you 😂😭” Yes I have seen other parts of Turkey 😂 We had turkeys and chickens in our compound growing up... before I went t school in the US and saw the whole ones we use for thanksgiving. I also love smoked turkey neck for making collard greens 🥬 so good! The ones we buy in Nigeria in cartons are imported hence why they come in different specific parts. It looks amazing! I agree that leaving food to rest makes it always taste better! I love to add my homemade ginger, garlic and turmeric paste when I make turkey wings.

You guys, Sisi Yemi did not lie. I watched this video yesterday and decided to try it. You may never taste anything with such distinct flavor again. It's literally one of the best stews I've made. And it's so simple. Prep time and cooking time were really short. It's worth it. Give it a try.

Live turkeys are sold in Lagos markets at Christmas time. When I was a little girl living in Lagos my parents used to receive them as gifts during Christmas. I think they used to sell frozen whole ones in Shoprite at the Palms at Christmas time too. I guess the koko is the Christmas time 😄

Yes please put ALL the ingredients in the box because this look amazingly delicious.😋 Yes I see that every.thing is expertly prepared. Turkey & Fish are my favorites. I roast whole turkeys, the breast meat is not as moist, but delicious. I've cooked drumsticks in a pot with rice & purchased them off the grill.😋 What are you talking about? Don't you know I click Like at the beginning because you never disappoint? 🤷🏽♀️

Thank you for this recepie! I am not a huge spice person, but my husband is, and when I made this for him a few weeks ago, he loved it and told me to put it on the regular list. We worked through it together to make it into a crock-pot meal, though. Through this recepie, I'm learning to really taste the different types of spices these peppers have! We don't have turkey wings readily available at my market, but I use turkey breast instead. Thank you for the inspiration and helping me crawl out of my shell. You are fun to watch and your love for food shines through!

I’m from America (North Carolina) and use turkey tails to season my collard greens. Their kinda fatty after boiling but don’t leave that thick oily residue. They leave a great flavor and the meat is fatty but you’ll get a good taste of meat from it
