Being 73 years old and quite past the September of my own Life, this lovely Sissel rendition makes me remember a completely different "September Song" when I was an awkward teenager. Chad and Jeremy, two lads from Britain sang their "September Song" whose lyrics were more about romantic loss. That's one of many reasons I love listening to Sissel sing. It's not just her soulful voice bur also the soul that she reveals in each performance that she shares. She always spirits me away to distant memory shores. Some sad, some happy but all always heartfelt. Thank you, Sissel, for what you make me feel. You're the emotional vitamin pill I need to take every once in a while to Brighten my Being!
