I lost my mom in 1987 and this song opened the door to a million memories that came flooding in. Even at 81 years old, I am still her little boy. I have learned as I listen to Sissel bring back these golden songs, I'm not to old or prideful to cry. Real men do cry.

I got to meet her a year ago after a concert. She was climbing into her car and I called out to her from some distance. There was no one else about apart from a roadie. I almost fell down when left her car and walked over to me. She was so easy to talk with and gracious too. She was tall and appeared younger in the flesh and slimmer in jeans & jacket. That smile was so charming and her laugh just it's own music.
