I completely resonated with you when you said your parents never really had one on one time with you guys cuz there were so many of you. I come from a family of 5 siblings also and I never really felt like my parents had time for a lot of us. I love the move with or in with an older sibling system! Seems more likely for success as mom and dad’s advice was dumb to all of us at that age. May be more well received by a sib that’s not only already doing it but still understand the current events and such.

This video was a perfect example of what I wish for my kids. I have 17 yo and 12 yo that for the most part get along and have since they were small. Of course, outside influences will affect their relationship, but I try to remind them to be true to themselves and when shit hits the fan they better be there for their siblings no if ands or butts 😂 Thankfully my two kids are close to me… well sometimes too close 🤣 just so glad to see siblings like you two 🥰

My older sister and I were extremely close! We were a family of 5 kids and my dad was killed on the job when my mom was 6 months pregnant with me and my oldest sister had cerebral palsy and she was 13 years older than me. She learned to walk right before I was born so my mom raised us the best she could!! We all adored her and she died at the age of 48 of cancer the day after I had my first child so my sister just older than me by 4 years became besties and for a long season we lived in separate states but they moved here when they retired and I had 15 wonderful years with her! Her husband passed 18 months before her. He was my husbands best friend. It is very sad to not have any parents or siblings or grandparents left!! It’s just me and my husband of 52 years our son and wonderful wife and 2 beautiful granddaughters, then my daughter her husband and 3 wonderful sons! The 2 oldest boys have graduated from Baylor and met their awesome wives there and my youngest grandson is in Dallas at Dallas Baptist University!! I feel so blessed for each and everyone of them! I’ve gone through a lot but God has just made me stronger from it!! You girls are amazing!!!!
