I think Meri was stuck being the disciplinarian, because Janelle was working, and Christine never wanted to be the bad guy. Meri has her issues, but I think Meri got stuck doing the miserable jobs, because Janelle and Christine didn’t want to deal with it. I genuinely wish Mykelti would mature enough to realize how different times were, and that none of the Mums were perfect. The amount of blame she lays on Meri as opposed to her father, is astonishing 🤦‍♀️ Especially when Meri has been one of the biggest victims of Kody’s abuse.

Two things can be true at the same, right? It can be true that Kody was abusive to Meri and that Meri was abusive to Mykelti. I never got the sense that Meri was involved in raising the other children. She worked out of the home when they lived in Lehi. There are reasons that Janelle and Christine (and their children) do not include Meri in the family. I believe Meri mistreated several of the family members and they detached from her as a result.

I think it's important to remember that Meri was in an abusive relationship since day one. He lied, he gaslit her, he was at least emotionally abusive and probably verbally abusive as well. He can only function as the Apex and must constantly put others down to remain in control. He did this for decades. Women in these relationships are being damaged and hurt daily and such people often make bad decisions. I've never liked Meri too much, but she would have learned all these abusive and cruel behaviours from Kody. This was the model and standard she lived every day.

It seems Robyn & Kody talked (when they first met) about how she became pregnant with Dayton and she gave him her 'purity' speech to put all the blame on Preston & I think Kody was then prompted to confess to her that he too had broken the chastity rule around the same age. That's the only reason I think he confessed to Robyn - to make them both feel better. If he'd have told Janelle & Christine then maybe their strong AUB beliefs at the time might have meant they couldn't marry him in the temple and his little secret would have got out in the AUB community so he could never be a priest or leader. I did'nt care for Meri early in the show history. Now I have so much more respect for her. Christine and Mykelti have said bad things about Meri everytime they talk. In all the interviews I've seen Meri has not said 1 bad thing about anyone. She admits she was hard to live. I'm sure it was difficult.

Even recently Janelle goes to meri to talk about coyote pass. She runs to kodi and Robyn about it. Nope. I wouldn’t trust her either. Now that she’s out I can watch her parts and hope got fun and a better life for meri, but no. She betrays every confidence for Kody.

In the early seasons, the OG3 were wearing garments. Robyn dressed very differently before marrying K. Afterward, she was wearing garments. In LV, they stopped wearing them.

So Robyn had to go through repentance to get back into the church? I guess that was done after her divorce but before her marriage to Kody. I wonder if that is why they were courting so long? Because it takes so much time to repent. Hmm, seems like another lie. I also saw by someone say that Robyn must really have something on Kody for him to bow to all her wants, needs and demands. I wonder if that 'something' is that they were involved long before Meri 'introduced' them?
