So, ever since I listened to the Bane Trilogy books I've been wanting a live action series based on them. Imagine the episode and season Length of GOT but without the stupidity of the leaders, especially for the end. S1(probably 8 episodes at most, though other seasons vary) would follow Bane leaving his Mining planet and join the sith Army, allowing audiences to experience his strategic planning skills and grow the relationship between him and his comrades before being taken away. The season would end with him choosing a new name as he is granted the chance to learn more about the force. The first book alone would make for 3-4 seasons depending on how you break up the arcs

I agree!!! I’ve always said this could happen..... but Disney already fucked Darth Bane up. In their new canon they changed his death to being killed by Jedi...... which fucks up the rule of two. They can’t take that away from Darth Zannah like that. I also wish there would be a follow up trilogy that would focus on Darth Cognus and Darth Zannah..... there’s a huge gap between the bane books and then the Plagueis novel

At the end of the second book the Jedi were under the impression that he was killed by a group of Jedi, despite the truth being different. As for his form in the episode, they'll have to Change it back to how they originally planned his appearance to be.

One of the most overlooked and under cultivated portions of Vaders life as a Sith is his expeditions for the emperor and himself to find ancient sith Tech and knowledge. Man, this would be a great gold mine of information for a TV series. Always two there are. As far as Vader using the artifact to bolster his glove, I think it is smart and it shows Vaders level of education into the past and his willingness to learn to defeat his master.

In a fan fic story I wrote for events proceeding the Legacy Era comic, I have a grand event in the far future where The Eternal Republic, Sith Empire, and monarchies/and rich families of the galaxies have a massive ball every 10 years after celebrating the peace that was made between them after a devastating war. And I didn't mistype "galaxies" up above. No, by now, at least in my fan fic, 80% of the orbiting dwarf galaxies have been considerably colonized and in possession of either The Eternal Republic or Sith Empire.

Bane, like Thrawn in my opinion, was a pillar of Legend’s material. I know they’re both Canon now, but if they fleshed out Bane further? Maybe with a cameo in the Live Action Shows or an animated series (more than the brief “cameo” in Clone Wars, I think Bane could open avenues for the New Canon. Especially with Revan being “canon” now as well, along with Rakata Prime.

Kaan had a lot in common with Jorus C'baoth, both men tried to use mind tricks and battle meditation to reshape their followers into extensions of their own will, and both were driven mad by the process. What Kaan did with his brotherhood, and what C'baoth did with the Jedi masters on Outbound flight was taxing on their minds, and in the end, both went mad from trying to maintain it, and ended up destroying both themselves and their followers.

Quick question/poll that im reposting here, would you rather receive: A) a Star Wars game that mixes Battlefront style fps combat and Empire at War galactic conquest B) a Star Wars MMORPG similar to SWTOR except there are designated servers that can be purchased (spare us EA overlords) or publicly accessed that have special features. Similar to the idea of League of legends, on a planet there are NPC minions that will constantly spawn and fight for control over contested planets. Player assistance and intervention, along side essential quests that are completed and different for whichever affiliated group a player belongs to, will determine and influence which faction takes control of specific sectors of a planet. This system would eventually lead to planetary control, and would force the conflicts to be pushed to other planetary systems. C) a single player game that focuses on the characters that while explored in legends and books, are not present on screen. Different chapters would be available for a number of characters whose actions are only alluded to on the screen. For example, exploration of post clone wars stories of Jedi being hunted (imperial POV, I know that the new game is coming out about this from the Jedi point of view), a more detailed look at Papatine and his dealings during the clone wars and prior, the adventures of Douku and Qui-gon Jinn, etc. Just spitballing here, if you have a better game idea, feel free to roast my lack of creativity. Just a fan with big expensive ideas that’s wondering which idea is the best, and which one is a steaming pile of you know what. Thanks

You have too much self doubt my fellow creative thinker. Your ideas are solid but could use further detail or additions. Your first one could work but it'd be new to the normies so who knows how it'd be received. As for your second idea, that would be great but it could only flourish if placed in Legends continuity. A great era and fresh for new and original designs/concepts would be during the New Sith Wars (the last decade being partially explained in this very video). And last but definitely not least is your third idea. It is a truly splendid and glorious idea. That so, because it reflects my own concept writings for an extremely large scale game that would operate like yours. I title mine Star Wars: Conquest/Forevermore where you literally start at the beginning of creation of the Star Wars universe playing as the Celestials to the last moments in Star Wars Legacy comics with Solo's great great granddaughter. Such a gaming endeavor would cost hundreds of millions and eat a terabyte of download space like a 8 year old with a chocolate bar. My plans for something such absurdly big comes from pure passion that the entire Star Wars Legends universe will be expressed with unrivaled glory for Console and PC. It'd play like a mix of COD, SWBF2, Uncharted, and PlanetSide 2. That's a lot of different gaming engine types; I know. But with this next gen console series coming out, a lot of previously incapable software magics will be made a reality 😋

The comic pages are from the Jedi vs Sith comic series. It's actually the first time Bane appeared in any Star Wars media. He was mentioned in the novelization of The Phantom Menace as a sort of historical footnote, but Jedi vs Sith is where he first appeared as a fully realized character. I will tell you that Jedi vs Sith was one of the most bizarre Star Wars comics I have ever read. It's like they got a teenage edge lord to write the story and then fantasy children's artist to draw the panels. I never knew I'd see so much child murder in a piece of Star Wars media. There are actually lot of interesting ideas they try out in the comic, but are executed rather poorly. For example there is a sort of Medieval aesthetic and I kind of get why they did that. 1000 years ago was Medieval Times so a 1000 years before the movies would be like their Medieval times. They did something similar in Tales of the Jedi, but they had a sort of Bronze age look. Where it falls flat is it looked too Medieval Fantasy. You had people using swords, daggers, spears, bows and arrows alongside people shooting blasters and flying speeders. At points it looks ripped from Narnia. Lord Farfalla's ridiculous looking ship at 9:06 is a prime example of this. They don't know how to marry a Medieval Aesthetic with a sci-fi setting. There is also this sort of loss of innocence tale as both sides oddly enough recruit force sensitive children as child soldiers. I'm not a fan of the Jedi doing this, but I guess the message is war makes people do desperate and terrible things and your heroes aren't who you expect. Like the Jedi are kind assholes in the book. I wasn't a huge fan of this because it was the Jedi's triumph and you they shouldn't triumph deploying such tactics. One part of that loss of innocence narrative I liked was how the planet Russian is this green, verdant idyllic forest planet and as the war drags on it is transformed into this gray mudball. You have this character who is a young child kind of going on her own adventure and she's watching this world slowly die around her and she doesn't fully understand it. Then she turns evil all of a sudden and her personality is transformed. That felt super sudden. I liked that side story, but they definitely could have ended it better. It is weird to watch it though when juxtaposed to the rest of the story. I get a sense someone spit balled a lot of ideas about this era and story and the author didn't know how to execute any of it.

He's on of the many strange half-breed races on Star Wars Legends. Specifically half human, half Bothan, Jedi Master Farfalla was like the Anakin of his day except he held the rank of fucking MASTER... Other cool facts about his kind is that they lived perfectly "normal" lived as half-breeds and even have there own culture on a certain colony planet (or moon) somewhere in the Mid Rim. Just goes to show that if his hairy ass can exist then a lot more "intermixing" *wink wink* can be done...
