X-Ray/Cat Scan tech here! Connor your stories always make me laugh but your interpretation of a barium swallow sent me into orbit 😂😂😂 Making it sound like we’re torturing people in our rooms! He went into a Fluoroscopy room and yes those machines always are intimidating on first glance! The burping feeling but not being allowed to burp and the barium having a glue like consistency… yup that’s x-ray and try getting that into a 80 year old man who already told me to F off 😅😅😅 so interesting to hear they give you laxatives…it naturally just comes out because the body doesn’t absorb it… at least we don’t do that in New England! Always wondered what radiology was like in Japan! Love this podcast and love when Mr. Bread comes on

The key to a good day drinking session, is pacing. Especially if it’s hot outside. If it is, the day drinking should always be done by a body of water. Whether it’s a pool, lake, river, on a boat, or the beach. Also, you don’t wanna drink super high ABV drinks. I personally go for lighter beers and drinks like gin and tonic during the hot part of the day. Then as the sun starts to go down, I generally switch to bourbon. You also have to have good amounts of food/snacks for grazing throughout the day.

Hate it when doctors don't care or listen. I had really bad stomach pain and couldn't move well, so I went to the ER. They only did a blood test and nothing else, and the doctor said "you just have the stomach flu." Then 6 months later my appendix ruptures and it was the exact same pain as the first time I went. So I think I had appendicitis 6 months before and they could've prevented it rupturing if they had properly checked it
