The Nanny Solution

Күн бұрын

In the last couple of weeks The Nanny Solution has posted three six figure jobs, ranging from $90,000 (close to six figure) to 160,000 per year. We have been swamped with nanny applications. Let me tell you I have seen some amazing nannies. I am so impressed with the training and work history of these nannies. Truly impressive.
But for every 50 resumes we receive we only send 3 - 5 resumes max to the family. That’s only 1% of nannies who get put forward for these six figure jobs.
So what is it that I look for when choosing which nannies to send and which nannies not to put forward to the family?
Things like childcare background and education are very important. But there are little things that make a difference. In this video I will teach you the things I look for when we are recruiting for a 6 figure nanny jobs.
Are you always amazing? Then we’re always hiring!
When you work with an agency like The Nanny Solution by Nannies on Call, you have an experienced team working on your behalf for free. We offer you personalized attention, support, and expertise, so you can find your dream job. You’ll have access to top jobs with amazing families who value what you have to offer and are willing to make a commitment.
We help negotiate a fair wage based on your experience, education, the responsibilities of the job you’re applying for, as well as current job market standards.
More than anything else, you’ll have the respect and ongoing support of a team of professionals who appreciate what you do for families, and who are advocates for the Nanny Industry.

I'd rather be a good fit and be a natural to the kids and their families versus making 6 figures and not being a good fit. That is what i like about the agency there is a nanny for one good family out there and family for the nanny and both sides will become happy (grow) together. I am just getting started as a nanny but has been a teacher in the classroom and babysitter. I want that good fit. I want to be the natural fit for the child and family. I don't care about 6 figures I care about a roof over my head and making the kid and family happy each day!

my high school friend got a job as an au pair shortly after graduation. she got to live in France and absolutely loved her job. i never thought about it at the time but i wish i had pursued that line of work when i was younger and less tied down. i'm only here because i'm doing research. But wow.... this sounds like a pretty sweet deal.

Being an Au Pair is very different than being a nanny. It is a cultural exchange and often low pay, little experience in exchange for living with a family. Being a professional nanny requires much more experience and training.

I am obsessed with this channel! Being a nanny I feel like I have an extra support community now. :) Can you please do a video on Newborn Care Specialists (NCS). I'm just learning more about what the position and very intrigue but want to know if it will be a good fit for me. What is a typical shift like? What will you be doing? Can you make a living/career being an NCS? Pay? What does it take and who would be best suited for this kind of role?

I think being a Nanny is different then other industries in the sense it’s so personal. But it’s also similar very few people are at the top 1% and the ones that are at the top. the individuals that continue to grow and expand their skills and take the initiative on their own. I don’t think you have to be perfect. But your a role model to children and working up close in families private live so you definitely have to hold your self to a higher standard.

We suggest asking them for a reference before you leave the position. You can even type up a reference and have them sign it if they are to busy to do it themselves. Make sure their phone number and email address are on the letter as well.

I worked with a HNW family and unfortunately, I’m just not a good fit for HNW. I’m a younger nanny so I have years of experience and early childhood education certificates, however these families were challenging for me to communicate with. They gave off a “I don’t desire to talk to you” impression. I stay away, unfortunately. Otherwise I’d absolutely love to ❤️💜 I know people I’d recommend for those types of jobs, I’m just not one of them.

I see that your videos are geared towards the nannies. What about the families? I had a candidate I loved reject us based on fit and now I have no idea what it means. Were we not personable enough? Was it something that we can’t change? Would love to learn what you recommend to the families.

We do have a few videos for families. kzbin.info/aero/PLWSHEd7OXwVPpZe44W4HWfraVOAmMq_l5 I think if a nanny tells you they do not think it is a good fit, you just move on. It doesn't really matter why. You should not change anything about who you are or what you are offering for a candidate. There will be someone who is a good fit for your family.

I have rejected families for the following: Low pay. Not able to take children on walks or go anywhere at all with children. even after my background and Motor vehicle checks are viewed and references. A family that comes off cold to me. Or stuck up. a family that is not reliable. Just as I am reliable, I expect families to be as well.

What is considered rude and disrespectful to an agency? Because sometimes the agencies and I don’t agree but I like to think I handle it amicably and clarify if I am frustrated with something and say Why without sounding like I hate everybody. I always thought I handled the conflict with agencies I’ve spoke to well. But if they think I didn’t, I guess this is why they don’t reach out about jobs :(. so now I guess I’m unsure if I should switch careers The biggest thing I hear is: it doesn’t matter how many preschools you volunteer in or how long you work in a swim school, if it isn’t a reference, you don’t have it and your experience isn’t enough

Wondering if there are other programs to take to be acure prepare for todays needs That you could recommend. Worked as a nanny for the past 7 years i also do babysitting when I have free time.
