The Wales vs Scotland game was indeed a game of two halves, however for 20 minutes or half of the second half and due to their own indiscipline, Scotland played with 14 players on the field.

In terms of that team combos selection, interesting debate. Would probably go with: Front row: Wales - Jenkins, Owens, Jones. They were imperious in 2012, 2013 Second row - Scotland- Scott Murray and Jason White were great in the air and incredibly physical Back row - England. So hard not to pick the countless incredible Irish back rowers and i am biased here, but Hill, Dallaglio, and Back were unstoppable in their time and also have a world cup. Half backs - France - Dupont and Ntamack. I just think Dupont is already on his way to being one of the greatest of all time and Ntamack is a brilliant partner for him Centres - Ireland - BOD and D'arcy for the reasons the pod explained Bacn 3 - Italy. Tbh all teams have had superstars here and i need to fit Italy somehwere. With the above team around them i think Capuozzo and Ioane would tear it up

Discussion point! I've been looking at the 6 nations table. What if Ireland get bonus point wins in every match except vs England where they loose by 1 point. England win every match without a bonus point. By my calculations Ireland are champions with 21 points and England are second with 20 despite à grand slam! Either I'm no good at maths or I'd like to hear everyones thoughts

I always felt as a player that when a teammate started shouting its more to get themselves up for the game rather than anyone else, never found someone shouting 'lets make big hits' very persuasive. If you're before kick off and you have to convince people of that its nearly too late

Ireland didn't play any real standout rugby in Six Nations last year, at least not to their usual standards, and yet they still managed to win the Grand Slam. This year I think they'll be out to prove a point and they'll steamroller everything that's put in front of them. I believe they'll play South Africa later in the year and retake their #1 ranking then.

I think selection is a bit of an isssue for England. I know these guys don’t really like to talk about it much cause there’s personal relationships there so understandable. Ford needs to change his role to bench/mentor for the 2 Smith’s (obvs Marcus is injured). He conceded too many yards in the tackle and Dingwall isn’t the physical beast we need at 12 either. I think, given the injuries, 10/12 was a miss from Borthwick. Fin Smith and Ojomah deserve a chance to show they’re capable of stepping up. Steward or Daly are great to have but not both. Let’s get some more pace or power in the back 3 from the start. As for the pack: I think it was a hard working but low skilled pack selected by borthwick. CCS at 8 with Earl at 7 and roots 6 is a back row that needs minutes together as it’s the future. Think Martin is a big miss for us and the front row is tough because we’re struggling to build a dominant scrum. Don’t really know much about how to fix that quickly

You Could pick Gawd o Driscoll in the Greatest Center Pairing of all time with Da Beard Darcy , what they failed to mention was he was a full back first The Beard and Gawd was a scrum half , they didn’t grow until 17 or 18 that’s why they were so skilled, and won the Heineken Cup on three occasions, against the toughest opposition, when England and French teams had 4 times the wage bill as Leinster and Munster Irish teams 2009, 2011 and 2012,He was also involved in Irelands back-to-back Six Nations Titles in 2014 and 2015, which back then was way harder too , these two were the two best back in the world, the All Blacks feared these guys the most that how good they were , so the real question is Who you take in the greatest Center Duo of All Time , Gawd & Da Beard v Ma'a Nonu& Conrad Smith????
