Very nice. I've never flooded first and still get a great print. Also just fyi the magnet for the squeegee is in the front, not the back😊

This video just made me reconsider my business plans. Thank you! I was considering getting into DTF printing, but for limited color designs this may be a much better idea.

Can you share any of the screen printing tutorial videos you watched to learn the process? Thank you for the helpful tips & tricks. They helped answer some of the problems we were having with our Xtool Screen Printer.

This is so cool, can you make a video engraving a halftone image on the screen? I am a screen printer for 18 years, this will be a game changer. Thank you in advance.

Cool concept but the downside is that it takes forever to burn the screen. But xtool never disappoints

Thank you for the great overview. I'm new to laser cutting. What is the material that you're using in the laser as the silkscreen? Is that purchased through Xtool. And it's not reusable right? You create the design, and you can make that shirt over and over, but you need to cut another silkscreen for a different design right?

Thanks for a great video. Once you engraved on the screen, can you clean the screen and add a different picture, etc or do you have to buy more screens for different images etc.
@FlyingBanana787 ай бұрын
There is a process to remove the screen coating, then a new coating can be applied and reused. Screens are about 30-40usd for 4. And depending on the size of images you burn then you can do additional images and tape over the areas that have existing burn images. They also claim about 100 uses of the screen depending on the type of paints used water or oil

Also are they gonna provide the acreens? In the beggining they were offering the special mix paint blue to reuse them and noe they are not. So they making us buy the screens again and i wonder how much will cost.

Love the channel thanks for all the great info and tips. I am definitely going to be ordering this for my laser. My one question is do you buy more screens from xtool or after market?
@SixEightWoodworks8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes, once they have their pre-orders shipped they’ll be selling screens. I have to wait too 😁 So many ideas!

I just ordered one of these with a new engraver. I assume the screens are one time use for each design?

Maybe you could help me with the dimensions of the frame... on the website it only references 11.5x16in but I dont know if that is internal or external. My laser machine fits a max of 330mm wide. Would the frame fit? Thanks G

I believe you can; however, it might be tricky to get it to fit. The S1 really is the best suited unit for the Screens.

These are the ones that come with the xTool screen printer kit

technically they are a metal screen. with a small enough mesh to hold the emulsion.. but relatively strong enough NOT to burn / melt the metal screen.. im going to try it with my f1 and my laguna co2 machine.

How difficult is the screen clean up? Is the screen reusable?
@asdragasd8 ай бұрын
If you use a water-based ink, the screen can simply be rinsed with warm water. The screen is reusable in the sense that you can use it again at a later time to put the same image onto other items but not reusable in the sense that you can laser a different image into it again. Once it's lasered, the emulsion you've removed is permanent.

Also living on the Peninsula the “Believe in Ferries” design is very relatable. Unfortunately the belief v reality is a little in conflict right now seeing as we are down to 13 out of 21 boats for our routes 😂⛴️
