Great video with some great ideas for simple projects. I am currently sitting here waiting for my new S1 to arrive today! I've had a C02 40w for a while now (Glowforge) and have made a ton of stuff with it. However, I really think the new S1 20w AND the IR module will be a game changer for me. Keep up the great videos!

That’s awesome! I haven’t tried the lighters on the P2 yet. If I’m just engraving small things, I usually just use the F1. But the P2 is definitely my favorite.

What settings would you use for the journals on an S1 40 watt or 2 watt IR? Thanks for the suggestions.

I’d plan on having a practice one to run test files on. I usually start with the stock XCS settings for the material (leatherette in this case), and adjust from there.

It can do most of these. Some metals engrave better with an IR head though.

Will these products work with the stool d1 pro 10w?

Some of them will. You’ll have to use a marking spray like I showed in the video for some applications. You will be limited on some of the metals without an IR head.
