Good dog foods are low grain and use quality meats with little filler. Dogs aren't 50/50 omnivores. Vegan diets are fine for humans but irresponsible for humans to force on their dogs.

My meat diet was a lot more expensive tho. Just eat varied enough, and make sure you have enough protein and iron. There are a lot of good websites that show what to eat to get which nutrients! Also, you can be an unhealthy vegan, aswell as you can be an unhealthy meat eater. Ypu don´t need fancy seeds and expensive replacement ´meats´ to be vegan! I am a vegetarian and I rarely eat those replacements

When I was a teenager I stopped being vegan when I needed IV vitamins. We were really poor and mostly survived off of food pantry items. Most of my food was bread and rice, which made me really fat with not nearly enough nutrition

Yes of course there's plant based protein, but the vegan teacher isn't her doctor, she doesn't know the details, and shouldn't shame her for not being vegan). Preach all you want, but don't shame people for not being like you.

Agreed. I agree with a decent amount of what she says but she comes off so bad and cringey. A lot of us current vegans weren't born vegan. We have to remember what it was like back before we were vegan. Im sure nobody made the switch because someone accused us of being a bad person or shoved information down our throat. It's a delicate topic. The second you make someone defensive about their diet you've lost them.

I have flirted with the idea of veganism, it's mainly due to finding almost every animal cute and can't handle animals deaths, sometimes when i eat meat i nearly vomit if i think about the fact that it was alive. Weird for your body to act like that. I don't have a lot of money, and i live on a farm, so i don't really have the choice to be vegan. Its a bit odd though that i can feel physical repulsion when thinking about the animals that make meat, but i still like it so much....
