I will say, I do think it's a good sign that shows are _casting_ emotional guys because even if its not the norm yet, it normalizes it. I think they just chose some trashy girls cause they really did pull the opposite last couple seasons. Because Bliss, Chelsea, Tiffany, none of them were toxic, they were all adults. The show showcased immaturity vs maturity, not how men are changing vs how women are changing

I think it is really interesting if you look at the Zach/Irena/Bliss and the Jackie/Marshall/Josh stories as sort of a warped mirror of each other. Both Zach and Jackie were given the option to choose a quality person. In Zach's case, that person was Bliss and in Jackie's case, Marshall. Zach initially went with familiarity over quality, but realized over time "Oh, wait! This is awful. I think I want that other thing." Jackie chose quality over familiarity at first but found she couldn't handle it and retreated into the familiar. There is every possibility that had Zach initially chosen Bliss, he would have been unable to accept her care and affection and would have self-sabotaged his way to Irena. And it is also a lesson on the benefits of men letting go of benevolent as well as hostile sexism. Pretty much none of the men on the show (barring Josh possibly) harbored any hostile sexism. The benevolent variety was still endemic. That is at the heart of why the men and women on this show were held to such wildly different standards. Zach, when he stopped being understanding of Irena's terrible attitude and behavior and was willing to walk away from her, let go of benevolent sexism because he realized it matters how the woman treats him as well. Marshall did not let go of benevolent sexism because he believed to the last that if he just figured out how to make Jackie happy, she would respond in kind. But as the man, he had to make her happy first to earn loving treatment. And that is bull-followed by another word.

Most women I know, the things Marshall has done for Jackie. He would be getting 7 times a day. Tbh, I feel like it’s less of society progressing And men in relationships rather than these show programs just picking certain types of personas to increase drama or reach to other audiences. For example if they pick out a bunch of women who they think will be catty to each other or be immature in the relationship that’s something a lot of women like to watch plus something a lot of men wanna watch rather than in the past seasons showing the men doing that. It’s not a social change it’s just who they choose to show on camera. I think the shows has been trying to show the guys more rational and the girls is more irrational recently, It’s constantly switching up for the years it’s not the first time it went back-and-forth. That’s my viewpoint at least Also it’s good to remember that these are not randomly selected people but people who all went through an interview and got selected based on what the show wanted to represent

i'm going to guess that you are female because that is the only reason i can think of that someone would actually come up with this conclusion, which by the way makes 0 sense and ironically shows the arrogance that the women in the show have, which is why they do not mature.
