Just a head's up about why no one made Macklemore change his lyrics. This album wasn't produced by any label. It was 100% independent. Maybe that's why is so damn good.

And the church in which I preach at really did not like that, but however all the people I lost because of that, I have been replaced by so many gay couples that it is insane.

I am glad your parents accept you. I know that there are many people that do not accept their children for whatever reason. I just can not understand that. Thanks for watching and sharing.

Why, if the rest of life is grey, do we think sexuality and gender is black and white? You are who you are, be proud of it. Peace.

As a young mum I was 18 when my son was born now 24. If my son turns out to be gay I wouldn’t want him to feel the need to come out just come home one day the same way he would with a girl. Growing up my house was that house, where all the kids would go My dad was a single parent and always made sure to let mine and my older brothers friends know they were safe and welcome to be themselves in his house, that’s all I want the kids in my neighbourhood to know my home as

@ajandrianjafymusic That is exactly how it should be. My son and his partner have been together over five years. They are always welcomed here and we’re always happy when they come to visit. We always made our kids’ friends feel welcomed. It was always our goal for them to feel at home when they were here.

You’re awesome for being there for your kid!! So many “god fearing” “parents “ sell their kids out for their BS religion.
