Great insightful discussion Sizwe. One thing though about analysts on MKP, especially on their opinion on the party's supposed weaknesses which uGogo elaborates quite substantially, not much is said on strengths other than only centering it around the leader. Analysts have a tendency of undermining the power of followers as though they just follow without applying their minds on who and what to follow or support. The strength of the MK or any movement Gogo rests on the people based on what they perceive and believe, which is as a people we've taken that power away from the ANC to MK willingly so and out of our own accords because we can think, and which is why the saying goes "asibizwa siyazizela". By the way some of us took that decision in the first 10 minutes of Zuma's speech on 16/12 as it resonated with what we had yearned for in the light of prolonged frustrations with ANC. Analysts must not treat people as followers of MK as though they can't think or just follow without applying their minds. Next time uGogo analyses, and others too, please consider our role as a people in deciding who gets power and who it is taken away from. We are not pawns, don't treat us as such.

@siyandawisekhanyile41118 күн бұрын
We must be objective sometimes, just like Gogo Matshiqi. Not all of us follow a party because of its principles or beliefs; some follow due to personal politics and ethno-politics. It is a fact that some people voted for the MKP not because of its policies, but because of the love they have for our President, Jacob Zuma. Similarly, there are those in the IFP who remain loyal due to its ethno-mobilization and their respect for uBaba uShenge. The same can be said for the EFF, where some follow not because of its policies but because of their admiration for Julius Malema. Being objective in politics is critical, mfowethu, so that we don't repeat the same mistakes made by the ANC, IFP, and EFF. The movement is for the people, and the people are for the movement. We must always ensure that we don't center it around uBaba. We can be subjective in the public when we analyses politics but in our meetings we really need to be objective so that we build a strong MKP.

@alberttsotetsi606619 күн бұрын
@ThomasWright yes partially so however, the immigration issue in SA is not limited to African neighborhoods but also the Asians particularly, Somalians and Pakistanians. These nationalities know how to corrupt the country securities and MPs. South Africans are still having a mindset of the laws, examples there location boundaries may be opened in communities and how the grocery shops should be managed. These days with foreigners anything anywhere. Now in such upheaval havoc happening in SA there is an individual of a political party advocating such rubbish 😡🙆 is that liberating the SA masses or destructing them. SAns with their struggles are same with the Palestinians. They can't run away from their ancestral land, they have been dying in their land, can't live Mafia lifestyle. SAns are musically talented I guess that's keep them going.
