Yeah. Dr. Mpofu is very insightful, and I hope he can either be honest about his biases or try to minimize them. The DA has a PROVEN track record of debt- free governance, job creation and service- delivery in the Western Cape. They now have governing positions in every important ministry in the GNU albeit 6 deputy ministers. The deputies in energy&electricity, water&sanitation & higher education give me great hope. 👍 They will rise to the occasion and "Rescue SA" together with the partners. The DANC will not be as celebratory as their fans on Twitter. EFF & MK were fighting for the same voters both with wild moments in the past term. If they cleaned their act up, there is room for growth. More even if they do a non compete agreement and divide target areas amongst them. Make it a formal coalition and this amplifies. The left behind who didn't vote will mever vote DANC. Mobilise them to participate successfully and you've got a very large minority if not knocking on the doors of majority. Zuma should come to terms with the toxicity in his name and brand (family included) & work behind the scenes and JuJu does his thing on important issues. We already know there are colonial mindsets, if you can't do anything about them leave them and focus on things that produce immediate results even if only in the mindset & confidence of Pan Africanism. What I hope for is for us as SA's to be more vigilant with what deep state can do or what are planning.

EFF & MKP isolated themselves. Let’s be real here. MKP was formed for JZ to blackmail the ANC because of his legal issues. We will see how long MKP lasts, if the most recent by-elections are an indication, it doesn’t look good for them. JZ if he is as innocent as he claims, he should be happy to go to court in front of the judge and prove his innocence. He has taken advantage of the legal system all these years. if judgements goes against his wishes we have the worst constitution in the world, if he wins he is the masterclass, and we have the best constitution. Really !!!!

Hi Sizwe my man, I'm happy for this episode well let me dive in, firstly I think the big problem for this opposition block will be Andile Mngxithama, the guy still hates the EFF with passion, recently Andile had a podcast where he bashed the EFF left right and centre especially Julius Malema and for me the sooner Andile stops that and find a way to work with the EFF the better, after all the party the praised the most ( PAC ) is now part of the governing pact. Either than that I think these two parties will work well together. I still have to hear the policies and ideologies of the MKP though bcz except for the hatred of Ramadollar I still wanna know what does MKP stand for. I know that there is too much love and respect between Dr Hlophe and EFF. Well how do they make their presence felt ...well they need to use the parliament constructively, use their ideological superiority to argue every issue raised in parliament, they also need to play at the feelings of those ANC members who are not really happy with how things have turned up as far as this GNU is concerned. They know the ANC conferences resolutions they need to speak on those. Outside parliament they need to hold marches against unemployment, marches on free education, cost of living, landlessnes, inequality economic freedom, industrialisation etc etc, they need to have rallies, they can do these collectively and sometimes individually as these parties. They need to point out failures of this "GNU" and as well tell the nation what are the alternatives... they need to tell the country what are their election manifestos as early as 4 years before 2029 elections and do so regularly until 2029 of course. The PAC, UDM, GOOD and to an extent PA will be non existent come 2029 because their leaders will be busy with their cabinet portfolios and to some extent implementing ANC policies. As for the ANC the question there is what is their succession plan ? Ramaphosa took them from. 57% to 40% ... now who in their ranks will take them from 40 to 51 ? Well I don't know and I'm sure they too do know. As for the MKP these guys need to formulate their leadership structure as a matter of urgency. As for the DA well those ones have for a long time reached their ceiling they are and will always be a +-20% party.

Thanks for this ... there is no crises with the MKP, at least. Firstly it was the ANC that sent Helicopters to go "feel" the MKP at Nkandla only to find the MKP position steadfast on the condition that Ramaphosa resigns for them to work with the ANC. The letter written by the EFF is clearly their attempt to draw Ramaphosa's head out his ass somewhat. We can conclude that Ramaphosa had concluded/decided long ago that he was better off working with the DA and nothing could have changed that. He is a weak president who's in this for his own protection we'll have to see how long this lasts. He is not the only one to blame though, the entire ANC-NEC and by extension the entire ANC is to blame. This arrangement will soon implode.

SMWX you are great. Why is MK and EFF still a black organisation. They do not represent SA. They will go down just like the ANC.
@carlward86473 ай бұрын
Your analysis is feeble. Black people in South Africa have lost their political consciousness, because how else does one explain them voting for Zuma who gave the country to the Guptas. The ANC killed and buried the political consciousness of black SA. But the ANC and it's Nazi allies should not feel too comfortable. Just look at what's happening in Kenya. Something might just awaken the spirit of June 16, 1976 in the black youth.

Hi SMWX, out of curiosity on my part can you please indulge us your channel viewers as to why you refer to the ANC as having received 39% of the national vote in the 2024 elections when the official IEC results confirmed the final results at 40.18%, I am just curious. I have been following your work for a while and mostly align to your analysis on most issues but could not help but feel a sense of bias against the majority party namely the ANC. If indeed the official IEC results are 40.18% for the ANC what are we to conclude on your reperted assertion of 39%. Unconscious bias maybe?

I'm trying to figure out what the economic plan is if EFF or MK come into power. SACP Communism? That was a bad, dated idea back in 1994. It is stone age now. No communist or socialist country ever did a damn thing except fail economically ever. Russia abandoned Communism before apartheid ended in South Africa. China is Communist, but the reason their economy grew is that they turned capitalist for 15 years when the West capitalized them. Since 2013 when Xi Xinping walked back the capitalism and started trying to turn China back into a Communist country is when China's economy started severely backsliding. China is in a banking / monetary crisis at the moment. If South Africa feels like joining the Twentieth Century one of these days, it's going to have to embrace a free market capitalist economy if it wants to try to catch up to the rest of the world. The past thirty years have been an economic disaster. One of the big reasons is that the government has been torn pulling the economy in two opposite directions with the result that the economy is stuck in the mud, rudderless, no direction. The other big reasons are the rampant corruption of the ANC including it's old members that left the Party and a lack of a proper transition of the skills required to manage and run the various state agencies which have all, every single one, been a complete disaster over the past thirty years. South Africa needs a new day. I don't see EFF or MK up to the task.

The MKP can simply focus on continuing mobilization from the ground for the purpose of winning the next national election. The Ramaphosa ANC is very likely to implode without any opposition party baby-sitting the ANC; the coalition with DA in the so-called GNU, is a train smash waiting to happen. Umkhonto can have a presence in parliament just to watch out for opportunities to wedge into for purposes of developing its strategy to be strong on ground and build a trajectory into both the immediate and remote future. Then when they table their manifesto it will display serious well thought out and implementable strategic intentions to sort out the tragic plight of true owners of our country with, tangible benefits, immediate and long-term. Our people especially the youth have waited long enough for service delivery not just fancy government theatrics. Government without service delivery for all citizens is not only a travesty of democracy but also a theft out of the public purse. Unfortunately a lot of our people, including the so-called learned graduates who bend our ears with their babble in broken complicated English in the name of democracy, while they display their ignorance in public. I wonder why they are shy of simply speaking in our precious poetic Zulu; it's not a shame to do so, after all their audience is African people. Our people must get to know the meaning of the word democracy - that democracy means rule by the people, and this means inclusion of the poo who happen to be the majority in this country - power of government rests in the hands of the people. Hence any manifesto, policy,gov. undertaking and/or law should never be finalized without consultation with the poor, that is, people in townships and rural areas. South Africa has an oligopolic governance imposed via an oligarchy - rule by a few, for the benefit of the rich (business/ the markets). Our president's swift decision to partner with the DA et al without consultation with the ANC membership but with accolades from past MPs is a perfect example of an oligarchy. The not so unwilling DA compliance which is famous for being funded and driven by the WMC compliance and promptly dropping the Phalaphala issue on the other hand is the example of an oligopoly driven governance. Please take it from a one year shy of 80year old gogo, MKP needs to go out of its way to reach out to the people in every corner of Mzansi to not only mobilize for votes but also to teach our people their rights and responsibilities as well as to build effective communication strategies down to the deep rural areas - this is how the Afrikaners (Nationalists) won government from the British government.

There is a superior logic at play. It was the DA who coined ‘Doomsday coalition’…and said it is prepared to do anything to avert that coalition. So the DA is prepared to be used in any way for as long as it holds back the doomsday coalition. If I am ANC strategist the position with regards DA is that it gets nothing, no cabinet position for DA, no ministerial position for DA, no deputies for DA…nothing. The ANC must take back all it gave the DA.

It will serve the EFF and MK Party much better to stay out of the GNU than it will benefit them to be involved. If the lived conditions of people on the ground remain more or less the same for the next five years then those two supposedly "sidelined" parties have both the ammunition to use against those parties who were in government as well as being free of blame from any backlash from the still disgrutled masses. The DA with the help of Capital used propaganda to deadly effect when they branded any potential ANC coalition with the EFF and MK Party as the end of the country in addition to styling those parties as "anti-Constitutionalists" and if the same two parties do not learn to develop and apply their own forms of anti-GNU propaganda they will stall and never grow again. Their only disadvantage compared to the DA will probably always be that they don't have mainstream media in their corner.

Your channel has professional presentation attributes and I enjoy watching and listening to your presentation. As a viewer, of many you-tube channels, one of the staying features is the balancing of the microphone. Your voice is well produced for the given balance, but, it would be greater if you could get your technical people to balance the microphone so that human sounds are filtered out: this has got to do with where the microphone is place, and how sensitive it is to sound. The current placement of the microphone, is too close to your throat and the downward draught movement of your breath, it picks up and broadcasts all breathing, swallowing and breathing activities, which, distract the listener. It is a small thing to adjust, and I, for one, would appreciate an adjustment. As these sounds distract my attention from your excellent content. I apologise, I am not criticising, but adding value to your, already good production. I anticipate, as viewer, you may take into consideration the effect of sound on your listeners, to heart. In production, it is also advisable not to take any liquids, or seen to be doing so, for example, one does not encounter the beverage taking in traditional productions, or in the theatre - imagine Hamlet stopping to take a sip of cool-aid just before the To Be or Not to Be speech. A tip, is to reduce your intake before, suck a peppermint before, and yes, I know, saliva is produced from nervousness. You may reduce it, try, with a little salt in an egg cup of luke warm water, rinse a couple of times, and do some breathing exercises, all to reduce nervous tensions before apearing. I do though, irrespectively, enjoy your show emmensly. You may ask, who am I to say so. Well I am trained in voice production, theatre and broadcast recordings. Thank you, your channel is a page turn in South African media.
