How do you do the flip on flat ground without grabbing it looks really cool and I've always wanted to know how to do it

One thing nobody says about the speed glitch is that when you do it right, your board immediately goes to your feet. If you're doing it wrong, your board very quickly goes to your hand and then to your feet. To do it correctly, do the speed glitch, but wait like half a second before pressing Y/triangle, but after you let go of the cannonball. I learned this myself. If you don't believe me and are doing it wrong or you're not very consistent with it at all, take a close look at when you do it and when someone does it correctly. You should see the difference. If you don't see the difference, then wait until you get closer to the ground or wait a tiny bit longer before pressing Y/triangle. Again, I learned this myself and am getting the glitch to work a lot more consistently than when I first tried to do the glitch. Hope this helps people who have trouble.
