Bearing spacers don’t affect the ride, they support the center race so you get less side to side movement and it helps with the longevity of the bearing. You’re supposed to use spacers and tighten the axle nut until it touches the center race and what that does it completely eliminate and horizontal play in the bearing.

I literally just picked these up because they were the only pack with spacers and it was 34 bucks

I ride them. I like the spf formula, because they feel soft and grip well in the park. The stf formula are ok 🤔 i cant remember what they feel like. Oh well, i hope you enjoyed my honest review. Keep skating. 😊

Next wheels I’m buying I’m looking into Bones and Ricta so definitely a good chance! Bones has a decent amount of options as well so I’m excited to give them another chance. :)

Probably not anytime soon. They look interesting, but after skating Thunders and Indys Id probably be more interested in Ventures. A lot of skaters I like ride them. But I’ll never say never!

Quantum Ceramics are the best ceramics at their price point on the market. i got 2 sets of their “Isotope” bearings.
@Skatebetter

I see them for like $45- that’s a pretty sweet deal compared to other ceramics- I’ll have to investigate ceramics more and then will def give them a try!

@@Skatebetter they’re beloved by the slap community. i’ve been on my same pair for like 6 months that i haven’t even cleaned yet and they still skate just as fast as when i first got them. i only got another set because i felt like it and wanted to stop taking my whole setup apart to skate another board. now i can have a designated street/trick board and a transition/bowl board now.

Never tried them. The Andale name is a turn off for some reason. Just like Bronsons are a turn on because of Charles Bronson. Also the G3s are nice because they come in different colours. For someone who likes a modicum of meaningless colour coordination that is a plus! But when you start changing out individual bearings for different reasons that coordination goes out the window. Looking forward to hearing what you think about that Enjoi!

Lol I totally hear you on the name/brand thing- I’m the same way about certain brands myself. Definitely a fan of the G3’s as well, and the deck review is coming soon! Thanks :)

nice brother, Swiss doesnt really mean anything anyway, Bones started this trend and now brands put this label on their highest quality bearings, but its by no means a quality seal. so dont bother with "swiss" unless you trust the brand anyway. personally I´d like to see some more wheel reviews from you (my favourite) and if for bearings I want to know more about "ceramics". there are brands who sell ceramic bearings for more humane prices than bones does, so I wonder if the ceramic material itself is worth it or if the quality differs alot from bones and bronson to other brands.

Ngl I have bones Swiss, 6 balls, redz, Bronson's G3... but the best ones were the cheapest: 6 balls hard luck, the entry model. They also make a 6 balls ceramic, which I would like to try, for they have convinced me so much.

Love the super honest and fair review. Zumiez has these for $35 now. Even at that price after this review I'm not wasting my money. Speaking of bearings that needed break in. I found that out with Shake Junt Abec 7 bearings. once they broke in they just roll Super good.
@Skatebetter
@Skatebetter 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks g! I bought some super cheap Shake Junt bearings for my longboard (not Abec 7, literally the cheapest ones they make) and they’re not very good but they do roll! Hopefully they break in but I also understand you get what you pay for to an extent.

I use to gas my bearings when i bought them when i was younger I guess people now use running alcohol or windex and it gave them the instant break in feeling

@@hou5eheadjason interesting man. I may try those. Tbh I don’t know if it is just my brain but the Shake Junt Abec 7 bearing just felt like they rolled faster the more I used them. I didn’t apply Windex on them. Just started rolling better.
