This is amazing!!! Just got new skates, replacing my wheels to 98A and bearings, tightened up my trucks. I'm committed to practicing for the next coming months to get like this.

In order to do what you see here, get some 103A (All American Plus) wheels and loosen up those trucks some. The slippery wheels help with spins and slides and loosening the trucks helps with turns and edge play. It will take some time getting used to but once you do, whhhhhhooooooo!!!!

I wish I would have seen this sooner! I just got some Bones Super Elites 101a and Reds Bearings. Do think I’ll roll and slide just fine? Also is it normal for skaters to have multiple wheels, I would be willing to get some 103a.

@@irishopkins5248 .... I've never had experience with the Bones 101A wheels. From what I've heard they don't have as much slide as the AA pluses. It also depends on how slick the skate floor is as well. You can try em out and see how you like em.

@@irishopkins5248 ... With the Bones Red bearings you'll be fine. It'll take some getting used to because Bones bearings roll fast. I have the Bones Swiss and they roll super smooth and fast.

I miss skate key and empire!!!! I moved back to the east coast in the past year; where are the rinks at I can go to now? I looked, and they mostly seem to be closed down...? I miss this kind of music too. Last rink I went to they played mostly modern rap music... I am also rusty on the skates these days too... I need more practice! Where can I practice! Somebody help! HA!

This is not a tiny bit as good as Skate Key or Empire, and all their other DJs where 100 X's better than Big Bob. Big Bob NEVER DJ'd at Skate Key, and when Big Bob DJ'd at Empire instead of DJ Q, he played consistently lousy music. It's hard to skate well to lousy music. If the music's this bad, all the good skaters leave, or won't come in the first place. The best roller rink DJ's should be great skaters with apprentice DJ's assisting.
