I still very consistently play Tony Hawk games so the controls are embedded into my brain forever. ReTHAWed mod for THAW on PC, and the THPS 1+2 on PS5 I play weekly, so will definitely give this a try. Not happy about any NFTs though, that is an immediate red flag, but can't say no to at least trying it.

I felt the same way when I played the remastered Tony Hawk 1+2 a few years ago - the controls and the simulated physics felt, not exactly bad, just less fluid than Skate. You'd think that devs could maybe 'fake' the Skate controls, ie just map certain moves to flicks? This does look polished though, I like the idea of extravagant maps.

Yeah this does not look good. As a spiritual successor to THPS I would at least expect it to improve it or evolve it in some aspects. But so far this looks like a shameful ripoff. On top of that they want to put NFTs in it. I’d advise anyone to stay away from this game.

tony hawks like gameplay,taken the XL from skater xl and adding nft´s to the game yeah NO thanks LMFAO!! basically just someone trying to make money off of hype and nfts.... what a bummer! nothings better than tony hawk´s games when it comes to arcade controls so i rather stick to the old tony hawk games

When I first saw the trailer for skate nation XL I was blown away. The reality is a little/lot underwhelming. Obviously as a skateboarding game, im going to give it a try 🤷‍♂️🛹✌️
