Was always interested in brutal fingerboards because his insta seemed like the only place to get a decent shaped deck but unfortunately I never had the cash to buy a custom. it's cool to see a quick interview with the dude who makes em. Hey Ryan, dont get me wrong. The way everything is done is well made. The Camera, Light, editing, everything well done. but i think when you promote it as a "Fingerboard Documentary" Then you should put in some History, like where everything began. And yes the Shoes Bother me, simple because he is talking about " Back in the Days" shit and then he is not even using vans or smth else. Im sorry but im a Skater and a Fingerboarder. I hope you understand my point of view.

I'm sorry but this isn't a documentary. This is a long KZbin video advertising Brutal Fingerboards. This video was over advertised and overestimated. I understand that it's hard to get something really professional, but it isn't that hard. Software nowadays and even cameras are constantly improving. If you had taken a bit more time with this it would've turned out better. I also get the image you're trying to portray in this, but it wasn't executed well. You only provided one point of view. A documentary needs to throughly go through the history and composition of its topic. You can't have only one point of view. Just look at the Skating Fingers movie. He is taking his time with this and providing a thorough story. That's another thing your video lacks, a story. There's no story involved. Believe it or not, I'm not trying to diss you or roast you. This has potential but you haven't executed it right. The way this was filmed doesn't complement the story and message of this video. If you were to work on these, it would be much better.

It's a short subject doc that shows the art of making quality fingerboards (the fine art of fingerboarding) And it's a quick, easy way for people who don't skate or fingerboard to digest such an offbeat subject that they didn't even know existed.
