I think graffiti should be aloud in skate parks strictly by the users of the park and only outdoor parks. we spend so much time there let us make it our own by tagging it. My local skate park is just a basic concrete skate park but it’s completely covered in graffiti and it looks amazing. It also makes clips that you take there look so much eye appealing

Let’s have a conversation about mall grab. It is without a doubt the most functional and relaxed way to hold a skateboard. You pinch it on the nose. You can two hand it, you can hold it from the under side none of these ways are efficient. And let’s be honest if you were attacked by someone and you were allready in mall grab position you’d be in a much better situation because you got a firm grip around the truck and can smack that fool hella hard with the other truck. There’s no disadvantage to mall grabbing your skateboard. Only advantages. Lol 😂😂

Yes there is. It’s harder to get onto your board then it is compared to holding it by the tip of the nose with the griptape facing you, plus it just feels more beginner anyways.

You can easily find it by just googling it. In short: skating was really popular and it became kind of a trend to just have a skateboard. So a lot of people used to carry their boards in malls and not skate them anywhere. The ones that hung out in stores with their boards used the 'mall grab' and they were seen as posers. So people didn't want to carry their boards that way. That's what I've heard and read about it.

Us skater girls have to do so much more to be recognized as part of the community, but at the same time, we get caught or whatevs less because we’re girls and people can’t take us seriously. My favorite local skate shop is the board room, they sell completes, and you can choose it to be custom made you can choose the board, grip tape, wheels, trucks, and hardware, check it out if you live near it, my favorite wheels are spitfire, and they can make the board in front of you and tell them to cut the grip how u like it.

Recently the city hall wanted to build a spot, but to do so, they cut down so many trees and it's taking more than 3 years to finish. And more, people don't respect skaters or anyone else. I don't understand skaters who just can't leave a spot when told to leave (unless there is actually something stopping them from walking out like an injury) like just leave, explain why you were there, be polite, and stay on good terms with the property owner. One time I found a perfect stair set, and after like ten tries we got kicked off the stairs, but sense we weren't defiant and seemed trustworthy, instead of being kicked off the place as a whole, they just told us not to do tricks there and that we could still cruise. Trust me, the outcome will be better if you don't try to save your ego.

The skaters at my local park (very long time away🙄) are so kind and nice. I was probably the first kid they saw go down a quarterpipe at that park. It was my first time lol. I was very nervous and i was hanging at the top with my board hovering over the drop. I was TERRIFIED. Everyone was mostly scooters and bikers, but they all cheered me on. They said; You can do it! Just do it its not scary! Then i went and fell. But they encoureged me to keep going. I fell agin and sprained my ankle. I was lyingnon the floor crying but they all hovered over me asking if i was ok and clapping.(i think lol) A kid grabbed my board for me:) and im pretty sure i made history at that park to this day. XD JK they probably allforgot bput meh

Favourite local shop - 9INE 5IVE in Bangkok - helpful team and there's a skate park opposite the shop. Current dislike about skateboarders - ignoring other types of skate-boarders just because they ride a different style of board. Traditional 'popsicle' riders ignore long-boarders, and long-boarders ignore surf-skaters, everyone ignores caster-board riders, and Freeline skaters are just weird loners. We're all skate-boarders, so just say 'Hi' and get over yourself.
