Thank you. I will surely try this!! ☺️ I hope you’ll have a video on forward skating, then transition to backwards. ☺️

You’re an excellent teacher! I’m new to skating and have been watching quite a few of your videos along side many others and yours always go in depth into the physics and body of it all, which I find helps me learn the fastest and easiest as I know what feeling im looking for when skating! - Love From a fellow Brightonian 🩷

Hi. This is Sergio from Team Skatefresh. No, it's not normal. I guess you're open your feet but closing your knees. That is usually called "knock knees." Imagine that you're riding a horse, the horse will not let you close your knees, ok? And please take a look at these videos that were made for absolute beginners: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYfQdGdrgK19bNk kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4bKqo2DnM2ia80 If what happens to you is different from what I understood, please be more descriptive and I'll try to help. It's actually hard to figure it out without seeing you.

I keep trying to do this but my feet won't listen to me ☹️

Keep talking-to your feet or giving the instructions, but it's not just your feet, it's also your knees and back and body. Everything has to coordinate to do the right thing so you skate correctly. It takes time to coordinate everything together.

@@SkatefreshVideos I'll keep that in mind, thanks for feedback.
