Loving the new board. Loved that double flip too. What you said about your board and how it doest define your skating is very true. I went up from 8 to 8.25. I thought it would be bad but it worked out perfectly.

Thanks, double flips are fun. I know they aren't a really popular trick but I like them. As for deck sizes, I think it just comes down to what you are used to. When I first started I learnt on a 7.75 so going back to it was never going to be that hard.

7.75 is my size. I’m skating them with standard independent trucks and I like that the trucks neutralize the light weight of the board. My shoe size is an 8 and I find that I personally have enough landing room on the board for my tricks.

I am 13 my size is 8 and i skate 8.5, i feel like the larger it is its easier to do tricks and keep the tricks under control. my first board was a 7.5 about a 1 ½ it was way too small. I have enjoi trucks and wheels they were kinda budget wheels but i can skate better with the 8.5 than 7.75 baker deck.

Skating a 7.75 is perfect for beginners imo. You're able to easily monkey grip the board with your feet (curl your rear foot toes on the edge). You get that "one with the board feeling" very quickly. Eventually I think most skaters should move up to 8.25 or 8.38

I am riding the Grind king disruptors right now in am 8.5. love it for grinding. However, I have not been able to heelflip this board at all. Very strange. Enjoyed the video. I had my second session on this set up today. I'm liking the 7.75 even more now. Certain tricks such as nollie treflips have felt so good on it. As for the trucks they broke in so quick it's crazy. Oh and for me a Heelflip on anything bigger than an 8.25 is really hard. Probably couldn't do it on an 8.5. I'm totally sticking to thin boards now.
