I think the anvil of doom stops working once you miscast. Because it is an innate bound spell, once it miscasts, the model can no longer use the item in that magic phase.

When the rogres had their first fight did you not produce two wounds with stunties although one was regened? Regened wounds do not count?

That was changed a bit ago in WAP, it used to work like that, but now regen works like regular ward saves again, minus being ignored by fire and killing blow ofc.

Dwarf magic is only bound spells, which I think either don't care about miscasts or treat them differently somehow.
