Fantastic match! When you said "Chaos Warrior with no magic" I was especting a Khorne army, It was a nice surprise to see a different army list! Back in the day I play Chaos's Warriors... My list was all cavalry models and screamers for good measure... At the 2nd turn I was already in combat

Can't help but notice that one wound vanished before doing the armour save at 1:11:29, which if unsaved would have broken the unit. :) Nice to see the dwarves maneuvre a bit too!

As a Dwarf player for many years and having watched all your Battle Reports using them, I have noticed that your initial cannon guesses are usually 4 or so inches short of where they need to be. Up the guesses and it may start working better! Also, remember you can reroll the bounce roll even if its not a misfire, though it does increase the risk of a misfire!

Cheers for the advice mate! Will defs look at guessing a bit further initially. Though I did just check the rule for the rune of forging and you can only reroll if a misfire comes up, bounce or not. Thanks for watching!

@@rogueelementgaming I have to say that I do not like canons because they are very inefective, this caos canon is good because has a massive big template, so even in the case that you miss there are high chances that you will get some minis under the template, I would rather bring more troops, an another giro copter to protect the other flank from light cavalry.

What a nice battle :D. It was the perfect depiction of two armies of seasoned warriors clashing against each other whilst holding their ground. I hope that Chaos dwarfs make their way back to Old World; units like the hellcannon were something else!

Great to see Chaos Warriors on the channel and mixing it up with a different scenario. What a grind that was! I think the Chaos Gods disapproved of Christoph using FoW dice with his appalling rolls but somehow still managed to pull out a win.

I feel like that combat on the cameras left might have gone differently if the slayers had been throwing 4-6 attacks back into the marauder horsemen each turn. Enough lucky rolls to kill 4 horsemen would have negated all of the bonuses from the rear attack.

Super fun as always! Loving to see the chaos warriors in action, it's what my best friend used to play back when we started playing in the 90s and they always bring me back :) Around 1:11 it was 4 saves, not 3. If failed the unir would have fleed. And around 1:18 the standard bearer dwarf unit had a friendly unit fleeing within range at the start of the turn so I think they would have had to test panic.

I know this is a long time past. I too get my editions of dwarves mixed up but I think you didn't fire your gyrocopter at all @1:20:21 which also could have caused mass panic checks on his rear. Was a dangerous gamble to counter-battery fire the hell cannon without backup from the gyro. Would have harassed the hell cannon first with the gyro and if I wasn't confident in killing it, woulda stayed 11 inches back from it forcing it to possibly charge and fail. Woulda kept it from firing at you effectively for two, maybe 3 rounds.

Mortal Chaos is no joke! I could only ever win with Dogs of War (galloper gun up the flank to put enfilading fire on the knights. Dragon rider helped as well...).

Amazing battle as always! Your games really got me excited to play Warhammer again. I loved the chaos bases and the painting of the models in general. Small point: It wouldn't have mattered, but I think the marauders would not have gotten to reroll their panic test? Marauders cannot have marks.

They had Los when they declared the charge before the slayers got moved around to close the door with the Warriors. So I just counted them as still having it afterwards.

I actually think if u play on dwarfs jave shot. U can Hit the unit that holds the objective with everything u got. Gyro. Cannon and quarrelers. And u need better dice.

Cheers mate. I started using warpstone glow with a wash of beiltan green, but these days I use contrast orc flesh over a zenithal prime. Gets pretty much the same colour but with more depth and MUCH faster.

[Edit: nevermind you caught it all] Your Slayers forgot to attack the Marauder horsemen in their rear a few times. By the time the dwarf warriors fled when you lost combat by 4 the horsemen would have been probably wiped out or at least too small to break ranks. Might have drawn the game if the warriors were standing equidistant as the Chosen to the objective? Edit: and you forgot a gyro steam gun the next turn.

I dont understand your tactics. If u decide to move on his Charge range. Why did u choose to Marco Block the marauders in turn too. He will Charge u with the rest anyways. So just go after his artikery

If u would be sneeky dwarf Player then u would in turn 3 have targeted the marauders unit with ur Grunge thrower. Then guess short so that u Hit the unit in combat or scatter on an other unit. Ganes Workshop gave us the Tool of range guess so use it wise

Blatantly cheating multiple times is a bad look. Rolling a 3 and 2 1s to wound and declaring two wounds, rolling 3 Armour saves instead of 4 at 1:11:55. Pretty lame.

This is not cheating in a game with so many rolls is normal to have mistakes, I think that they know the game really good and apply the rules the best that they can, I wish I had leaner to play with players like those ones.
