There are also the One Page Rules Ratmen Clans, who are... strangely adorable. Which makes sense, the ratmen of OPR do not have the evil of the skaven. But the God Titan that they released for their recent crowdfunder very much has a Clan Pestilens vibe.

I'm always joyful-happy when I see skaven, yes-yes! I'm assembling a Clan Pestilens warband right now from the plague monks and clanrats box, and most of the heroes will be coming from Skabbik's Plaguepack from Warhammer Underworlds. I can not recommend the Warhammer Underworlds warbands enough for Mordheim! There are 3 skaven warbands there if I'm not mistaken, there's Hexbane's Hunters for Witch Hunters (and now there is a more... twisted warband of witch hunters with a recent release), and also there are amazing models for necromancers, zombies (maybe ghouls as well, but for the I recommend the Royal Beastflayers from Warcry, they also have dire puppies!). I just love the effort and care you put into each warband for the intro of these videos Leif, love the lore and vibe of these!

Great vid as usual Leif. Love a bit of rodential potential. Skaven have always been one of my favourite factions and there's a box of old metal minis somewhere in my parents's attic I need to get at sometime soon. Would like to see vids on Beastmen, Orcs or Dwarfs which don't seem to get as much love in Mordheim videos as far as I can tell, and am always up for some Carnival of Chaos. I'd also be interested in videos on some of the unofficial warbands from Broheim. Thanks again for your never less than fascinating content.

Great job allround, both the intro and the actual miniatures look great! I was sad to see GW discontinued a lot of the older skaven models. Managed to grab a box of nightrunners (the only ones still in production) for that OG mordheim vibe, but couldn't find the ogres and handlers set.

I painted my Skaven pink hands, feet ears like real rats. My mom thinks makes them look creepy. I never used the brown feet or hands. You should do Warhammer the Old World. I would like to do the Brettonia Knights. I want to make the presents like flagellants but they are metal.

Really Nice video! Recently my friends tricked me into start playing Mordheim and I would really like to make a Gunnery School of Nuln warband but I'm having problems finding what models to purchase for it. They look good, sneaky devils. I like the scratch built staff icon. Still a great kit, I know many people give it stick but I still think its one of the best, so versatile and posable, perfect for kit bashing and converting which is at the heart of Mordheim, sadly not so much with GW these days. You say you redid your Skaven three times, was that the list, miniature building, or the painting? What went wrong before it went right?

I like all the old kits. While the new stuff looks nice, the models are more complicated to build and monopose. The new ones are harder to kitbash as well.

Yeah I do think the kit for sure is one of the best older ones! The reason why I redid it once was the paint scheme, the second time was me realising that the "poses" for the night runners were too contracted making it hard to paint any details on the torso etc! 👍😅

Skaven are one of those forces where they're interesting, but not for me. A friend of mine used the skaven rules with the L5R Clan War Nezumi for a warband, and I'd considered doing the same, but the place that had the license to make more of them no longer has it which irritates me.
