Same. It's possible for two seemingly opposing views to both be true its just different perspectives. They really should meet and sort things out, not to get Oasis back together but because they are brothers.
@booishoois3095 жыл бұрын
Mmm, I used to be on Noel's side because of Liam's vocal decline, and irresponsible attitude. Seeing as how those things have been dealt with, we take some time to look at Noel's deficiencies. Jealous of his brother, tried to take over as lead singer of the band, tried to make it seem like Liam was at fault for Oasis breaking up when Noel really wanted to launch a solo career like his idols Johhny Marr & Paul Weller. I have always believed Noel was more intelligent to Liam, but sometimes heart is what matters and like the Grinch, Noel's heart is about 1/100 of what fans would expect.

Noel did stick it out for 18 years so its hard to blame him for leaving. There was always tension since Noel made more with writing, and then didn't let Liam sell his gear at concerts. Maybe Noel is guilty of provoking Liam relentlessly out of jealousy, but Liam took the bait and crossed some taboo lines. This allowed both to take the moral high ground. So I believe they are paradoxically both right and both wrong. The fact that I even care is a testament to how fascinating and brilliant both brothers are.

Liam has a more raw, uninhibited kind of energy. Both of them are very magnetic but in very different ways. I could listen to either one of them all night. Abuse does strange things to kids. If you are more abused than your siblings, you wonder why me? why not him? If you are less abused, you feel relieved but also guilty that you didn't get the same. Children blame themselves but not the abuser until years later if they are able to sort it out. Hope they are able to someday look at each other & recognize how much they each contributed to create something so incredible that they rose above a traumatic past. @@TheYeetusLord No, because Noel said he isn't the forgiving type. When someone puts up with so much and just gets to the point they can't put up with anymore, the bridge is broken and there's no way back. Once that's happened, attemps by the party that caused all that grief to add to it by sniping, lying, blaming etc only serve to bolster that resolve. It takes two to make amends and leave the past where it belongs and Liam has shown he's not mature enough to do that. Bringing Noel's wife and children into it proves that.

I've accepted this as a fan. Everyone just wants another crack at them. Would Oasis really be appreciated nowadays as much as they were in the 90s? Maybe. Never say never. But I think they just don't get on as brothers and Noel is the type of person to not wander through doors he's closed behind him. It's sad to see two dudes that made amazing songs together and brothers not be brothers though. I think it would be amazing just to see them have a beer together and bullshit about life. No Oasis reunion required. At least do that before one of you dies.
@foresthill5383 жыл бұрын
@sfairraid 13 Makes sense that that would be the case since Noel said numerous times in interviews that he would have had all the money and he had an ego that kept growing the more the band got bigger. He was always the serious one that had control in his corner. That show at the Whiskey a Go Go. And the ferry incident. "If you don't like it then you can get the fook out of MY band". It wasn't his band, it was their band. Tony was kicked out. Don't think Liam had an issue with Tony. It was Noel by himself that kicked him out. As big and amazing a songwriter Noel is, he has always had that I'm in charge and you're gonna listen to me attitude. Someone had to be the assertive one in Oasis for them to get to the heights of which they reached.

@Charley Lee Keep the US out of this. We have our own large, orange problem. Remember, the day of(or the day before)the vote for Brexit the largest amount of searches from the UK for "what is Brexit," because everybody's too damn lazy to do some research on issues and/or candidates. Don't feel bad, it's been going on since time immemorial. In every country. Look what the US got by not doing their research, or sticking their heads up their arses. We got a racist barely literate ferret wearing shit gibbon who knows nothing about running a country, and doesn't mind alienating the rest of the world. Not to mention he lost the popular vote by 3.5 million. It really pays off to educate oneself about every candidate before you vote.

I feel like Liam does still express quite a lot of hurt and anger. He has called Noel's wife a witch several times over the past few years and mocks Noel on social media pretty frequently. Liam has fueled the narrative that Sarah is part of the reason Noel won't reform Oasis and often accuses Noel of only being in it for the money and/or fame. I empathize with Liam's pain from being estranged from a beloved brother, but that doesn't excuse his behavior. Same goes for Noel -- while his defensiveness and frustration are understandable, the way he treats Liam feels more like a prolonged punishment than just moving on.

Kevin Murphy Nobody knows that they don’t actually speak...do they. They maybe actually do in a private environment. They share the same family. Their kids go to the same school 🤔. They play the media very well. It only plays on the minds of fans (and haters) about the split. It’s like when Fergie left Man Utd (sorry Noel I know you’re a city fan!) he knew it was a good time to go. In this often pointless media circus who really gives a shit (my dog does....twice daily) I’ve seen Oasis 4 times. The last time was in Newcastle. We had tickets for the far end of never at the back of beyond and decided we wanted to sneak into the ‘downstairs’ bit and get near the stage (affectionately called the mosh pit) only one of us, out of four, got past security, so the rest of us though uck it (not mispelt, just a creative alternative) and left the gig half way through and went for a pint. Did we regret this decision...no, it was a jolly good pint. We reminisce more about leaving the gig early than the gig itself. On that note (c major seventh) I bid thee farewell.....
